Another bugged game on steam. You get to level 8 of 10 levels and the save game quits working.
Janky controls ruin it. I wish I had a touch screen because I was excited to play this.
Simple short dungeon crawler, nice visuals ^^ I recommend it!
The Keep is pretty good classical style dungeon crawler. Some RPG, puzzles, traps and monsters. Just one adventurer, no party. Magic system stands out from other similar games. In this one, player can combine magic runes on board. Board space and runes are limited, so it actually is one puzzle more. Creatures are vulnerable or immune to different elements. Good rune board can provide many different spells. Battle system has some unique features too. There is gesture system, which should give more deadlier attacks. I never quite figured out how to use it. It could be bit more polished, controls and playability mostly. And dungeons could have more variety. Not best dungeon crawler, but still fun to play.
👍
I'm too stupid for this game. Traps and secrets abound. Rename this game The Torture, because that's all the endless traps is.
From what i read this is a Nintendo 3DS port, and no wonder, the melee and magic system would fit a touch screen, but they are janky as hell with the mouse. So, basically to attack you gotta make some patterns with the mouse, not great, you gotta be quite precise with the movements and you are under attack by 3 mobs at once, you sure as heck you will wish to not constantly fail at drawing patterns. The magic system is a bit better because you gotta connect runes placed on a grid so that is easier compared to the melee system. Nothing really stands out about this game, and when there are better alternatives out there like Vaporum or Legend of Grimrock, only grab this one for about 1-2$ and only after you already exhausted the others, this just aint worth it.
Play on the hardest difficulty for something closer to old school crawlers, magic focus is more fun than combat focus imo
