Reviews
This game is one of definitions of mediocrity. It is undeveloped in every way possible. Nothing is polished to a decent level. Garbage.
I'm not really ARPG guy, but this one is fun. I love constant bickering and jokes between Van Helsing and Katarina.

A lot like Diablo 3, and incredibly fun!! I highly recommend
Combines all the three Van Helsing games into one bundle and also adds a couple new classes to play (6 instead of the original 3). If you enjoy RPG games like Diablo and Torchlight you will like this game. Good level designs, music, characters and story to keep you entertained from beginning to end.
It was off to a great start, with beautiful environments, an original Eastern European steampunk setting, and all the usual character building of a Diablo-like ARPG. Unfortunately, I've gotten bored somewhere in the middle. One reason is, the story is shallow. The characters have little personality aside from making awkward jokes here and there. The plot is a standard kill-the-bad-guys affair with few surprises. The other reason is, I've unlocked all important abilities for my character, and now there are no more interesting decisions in character customization. No powerful late-game abilities, just a few small HP and damage upgrades left. It seems for the rest of the game I'll just be mindlessly mowing down waves of enemies.
Yet another game I wish I could write off the recommendation as 'Mixed'. The gameplay is lacking, repetitive, and entirely unbalanced, but the story and characters are actually pretty decent. The sidequests and exploration are pretty fun too. The main campaign is alright for chapters 3-7, but once you get from 8-11, you can really feel the developers started to rush to get the game out and the quality tanks in favor of repeat enemies and boss fights. The final boss is unique but he summons all the previous bosses you fought during his fight after defeating his previous 2 health bars. Really lame. Lastly, the multiplayer functionality only works if you host a private server for a friend to join, because the devs took down the servers for the game. I say it could be fun to give a shot on sale for the story, but this game is definitely not worth full price. Save yourself a headache of terrible balancing and play on normal or casual difficulty. It's insane how much of a time sink and kiting you have to do on the Heroic difficulty I was playing on and had to turn the difficulty down for the final fights of the last couple chapters because I was just getting one-shot, even though I was min-maxing my stats. Maybe mods fix the balance idk, but it was utter garbage on higher difficulties.
