I first played this game back in the summer of 2016 on a friend's laptop during a trip to the USA. Back then, life felt simpler, and playing this with a good group of friends made for some unforgettable memories. Fascinated by that nostalgia and seeing it on sale, I finally bought it for my own Steam account a few days ago. The game itself is still the same fun mini-golf experience, but the reality of playing it today hits differently. If you have a solid group of friends to play with, this game is an absolute blast and worth every penny. However, if you are planning to play solo, the public matchmaking experience is rough. Random online lobbies are usually filled with either total silence or people typing toxic slurs. My verdict: Buy this if you have a crew to bring with you. If you are a solo player looking for a friendly community in matchmaking, you might want to skip it.

This is the ultimate casual multiplayer game to load up when you just want to mess around with your buddies. I had high expectations for Golf With Your Friends, but after spending several hours playing it, I was left feeling disappointed. The idea sounds fun: a casual mini-golf game to enjoy with friends. Unfortunately, the execution falls short in many ways. The physics often fell inconsistent, making it difficult to predict where your ball will go. Instead of rewarding skill, the game sometimes feels like it relies more on luck the precesion. Several maps are frustrating rather than enjoyable, with obstacles that seem designed to waste time instead of providing a fun challange. Another major issue is the lack of polish. Ive experienced bugs, awkward collisions, and moments where the camera made it hard to see what was happening. These problems quickly take away from the enjoyment, escpecially during longer sessions.

If you've never played Tower Unite, imagine taking one of its many minigames, removing most of the charm, and replacing the chill community with antisocial 10 year olds who somehow act like they're defending their phd theses in competitive golf physics instead of playing the 1 $ game their grandma accidentally bought during the summer sale. Halfway through the session, my friend genuinely asked if we could go play some Overwatch. This is a mf choom who complains about Overwatch every chance he gets lmao If you're looking for good golf, play Tower Unite. If you're looking for friends, definitely don't start here.
