The Hungry Fly

Just like the repairing mantis, this game is completely different from anything I've ever played. It's really a shame that the level of this developer is not acknowledged properly. Especially with this game, where the story is much more concrete and complex than the previous game. I really hope to see more of this universe, because so far it has been an astonishing experience. If someone is reading this, you have to play it, and you won't regret it...... well, at least not in the way you think

The game explores the idea that in a world where nothing dies (i.e. Heaven), only memories are truly dead. This got me thinking that when the Rapture finally arrives, the ascended would have to rot away their memories to fully enjoy the eternal life. I believe the true choice between Heaven and Hell will then be whether to sacrifice memories of one's self or not. An excellent eschatological observation! A mechanically simple yet extremely eerie first-person adventure game where your personal choices leave a lasting and noticeable impression on the narrative as a whole. I like it.

[h3][b]Dérangeant...[/b][/h3] [b]C'est le mot qui m'est venu à l'esprit une fois que j'ai terminé ce jeu.[/b] Pas de [i]"jumpscares"[/i] ou de tueur fou voulant votre mort ici. Pourtant ce [i]The Hungry Fly[/i] propose bien une aventure horrifique. Le [i]gameplay[/i] est basique et ses graphismes sont du style PSX, comme tant d'autres jeux rendant hommage à l'ère [i]Playstation[/i] première du nom. Sans doute que cela contribue au malaise. Très narratif, attendez-vous à lire du texte lors des interactions avec les autres insectes. Je considère [i]The Hungry Fly[/i] plus comme une expérience que comme un jeu à proprement parlé. J'ai donc bien du mal à lui trouver des défauts. J'ai fini l'aventure en une heure et demie et on peut trouver ça trop court mais sachez qu'il y a trois fins différentes. Il y a donc un potentiel de rejouabilité. Spoko gra, prowokująca do myślenia. Sterowanie jest czasami trochę nieintuicyjnie ale łatwe do załapania. Fabuła tak jak i świat jest tajemnicza ale brak wiedzy o świecie nie jest frustrujący.

Es hat meine Erwartungen gesprengt. Besonders das Ende hat anders gehittet. Sehr geiles Game!
