About
Takumi Sumino is a totally average teenager living in the Tokyo Residential Complex, a place where every day is much like the last and nothing bad ever happens. All that changes when freakish monsters attack the town and start wreaking havoc. A strange creature calling himself Sirei appears and offers Takumi the power to protect those he holds dear... All he has to do is stab himself in the chest!
The next thing he knows, Takumi is in Last Defense Academy, a school in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a wall of otherworldly flames. He and 14 other students have been drafted into the Special Defense Unit, a team tasked with keeping the school safe for the next 100 days. How much are they willing to sacrifice to take back their normal lives and save the world from the grotesque school invaders?
The curtain rises on 100 days of war and despair...
Takumi's choices will decide his future, but there's no telling what kind of consequences these decisions might have...
When the invaders attack, it's up to you to protect the school in SRPG battles.
Use each student's unique Specialist Skills to turn the tide of battle in your favor!
Spend time with your teammates to deepen your bonds, or explore the wilderness and ruins outside the school.
You can even use the items you find to craft gifts and get even closer to your allies!

It's a fine tactical RPG/VN, except for things discovered after the so-called end of the game...
There is no true ending, even after finishing all routes and seeing all 100 endings. The creators pull the "we're sooooo clever" copout of saying pick the ending you like the most, while leaving essential pieces of the story unexplained. This is not clever. This is not good writing or storytelling. It is the mark of a coward who can't bring themselves to take the final steps to bring their story (or in this case, stories) to a close. This is the mark of a gibbon who abdicates the responsibility of a storyteller to FINISH THEIR DAMN STORY (hi GRRM and Rothfuss, you're gibbons too). Learning there was no true ending retroactively made me enjoy this game less. It made certain I will never engage with another game from these creators. Seriously, I spent something like a quarter of my time played on this game simply holding buttons down to speed through events and battles I'd done before, and got no payoff. Ugh.
高情商:量大管饱。低情商:史线太多。剧情不配给弹丸系列里最差的v3提鞋,冲着真相大白篇给的好评。
Part visual novel, part JRPG. Has the stylings of Danganronpa, without as cool of a killing game. This game will drag you through 100 (hence the name Hundred line) game days and you will reach the end of your first playthrough. Your first playthrough is story, broken up with occasional turn based battles, and free time to hang out with the other characters or go scouting the local area for resources so you can upgrade you characters or make gifts. Gather resources and hanging out with characters in general is unrewarding and boring. At the end of your first playthrough you will be asked to go again, and change how it ends. I was a bit hesitant, but glad I did because the 2nd play through is actually a lot better story wise. You will get to make decision that change the outcome of the story. You also get some version of a crazy killing game that was full of twists and turns, by far the best part of the game. At the end however you are left with as many questions as you probably had most of the game. The ending to say the least on both playthroughs left much to be desired. Overall it would have been better to just go full Danganronpa on this one because it would have been perfect. Great setting and characters for it. Overall I enjoyed it more than I disliked it.
I’m conflicted on this one… I said I’d recommend the game but that comes with a lot of caveats. Let’s get this out of the way; I had fun. I did. But I sure didn’t 100% the game. This really is a 120+ experience. It’s insane. But not in ways that are always good. You’ve seen the steam tag by now, so there’s no harm in saying there’s multiple endings. Well there’s a lot. A LOT. But none of them sit right with me. So many things change that the game feels noncommittal. Character personalities, the world you’re playing in… things just come and go without making any sense. Of course some things you see will only be explained way later, comes with the territory, but a lot of things aren’t and it just felt off. Plus some of the endings and the themes in them just feel… ew. I can’t say which but you’ll know the main offender when you see it. Also there’s the combat I guess. Nothing too remarkable there. Not bad, not groundbreaking. It’s kind of a side-note. Don’t expect XCOM, you’re not getting that. All in all, think of it as a super big choose your own adventure book, with all the advantages and unfortunate downsides that come with it. I had my fun with Hundred Line, but I’d be lying if I said the inconsistencies and even some of the endings didn’t leave a bad taste in my mouth.
Honestly. This game is long. Just be ready to spend 30 hours on the tutorial. Good luck to those who play this monster.
IF YOU LAUGH YOU GO TO LAST DEFENSE ACADEMY
