About
Takumi Sumino is a totally average teenager living in the Tokyo Residential Complex, a place where every day is much like the last and nothing bad ever happens. All that changes when freakish monsters attack the town and start wreaking havoc. A strange creature calling himself Sirei appears and offers Takumi the power to protect those he holds dear... All he has to do is stab himself in the chest!
The next thing he knows, Takumi is in Last Defense Academy, a school in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a wall of otherworldly flames. He and 14 other students have been drafted into the Special Defense Unit, a team tasked with keeping the school safe for the next 100 days. How much are they willing to sacrifice to take back their normal lives and save the world from the grotesque school invaders?
The curtain rises on 100 days of war and despair...
Takumi's choices will decide his future, but there's no telling what kind of consequences these decisions might have...
When the invaders attack, it's up to you to protect the school in SRPG battles.
Use each student's unique Specialist Skills to turn the tide of battle in your favor!
Spend time with your teammates to deepen your bonds, or explore the wilderness and ruins outside the school.
You can even use the items you find to craft gifts and get even closer to your allies!

One of those games where you can't just stop playing after you complete it once. Mainly because you wouldn't really get the full experience if you just stopped after seeing the credits once. I cleared the game about 9 times and every time it felt like a new experience. I would definitely recommend this game for anyone that is a lover of visual novels. The combat can get repetitive at times because it is turn based, but that is solved the more you play it since you are allowed to skip battles after doing it. There is also still a lot of story and things to get done even though I beat the game 9 times. I hope you give this game a chance.
I feel like I need a "maybe" option for the recommendation, that or a point system. This game feels like a complete subversion of expectations when it comes to traditional JRPGs. It's strong point, for me, is definitely the gameplay loop, the battles are exciting, each character feels unique, with varied strong and weak points and figuring out the puzzle for each battle and optimizing each action feels genuinely fulfilling. The exploration mechanic is also a ton of fun and very rewarding. However, this game loses a lot of points for me in the dialogue/storytelling aspect, which I find fundamental in a good JRPG. Starting off with the extreme levels of satire, not only towards other games from this developer, but also towards the JRPG genre as a whole, I really don't appreciate mocking something you're trying to be for a cheap "got'em". The characters feel repetitive and quirky for quirky's sake, the dialogue feels un-readable at times, there's not a single relatable character because they're all really extreme versions of the trope they represent. If that's your kind of humour then this is the game for you, because in gameplay terms it's really good. All in all, 6.5/10. Not bad, not great.
I think this might be the first worthy successor to Danganronpa/Zero Escape. The characters are good, the gameplay is fun, and the story is compelling. It is also an assault on your free time.
又拖又水又无聊,乖宝宝男主不管发生多大的事都必须准点吃饭睡觉,npc全员智障木头人,打通了30个结局,起码有25个是在吃史,看了真结局也配不上我一路吃的史,和解不了。
In a lot of ways this is a really ambitious game from Too Kyo Games and realistically there was almost no way it was going to be perfect given the sheer scope it was going for. It shot for the stars and while it didn't end up at the moon it did end up somewhere in the middle and ended up with one of the most memorable games I've ever played. The gameplay loop is really solid and satisfying to play and while it's not really that difficult of a game it's challenging enough that you have to think. The grid based tactical nature of the game was an interesting concept and at times I wish they would've done more with it as I think I had the most fun with it on first playthrough and by the end of my time with the game I was kind of over it as maps ended up all repetitive. Without going into spoilers, the game has a first playthrough that is already long enough that it's a full game but repeated playthroughs add a lot more time into the game and is definitely worth doing and are very different due to different endings. While some playthroughs will likely end up a lot more interesting than others, almost all of them are at least worth looking at. While this is a hard recommend to the average rpg enjoyer, I think this is a high recommend to anyone who enjoys long VNs with interesting stories. There is a lot of soul in this game and I respect the hell out of Too Kyo games for making it and bought it at full price out of respect for the studio nearly bankrupting themselves making it. I'm looking forward to their next game and hope it's as ambitious and interesting as this game.
gud gam
一般剧情都是划水的,又臭又长,只有那条真相线的故事从逻辑到结局是流畅的,把其他的都砍掉直接封神,你都知道真相了就不能和敌人好好沟通吗,你怎么这么自私,焯!
Absurdity of Danganronpa mixed with the complex ingenuity of Zero Escape. 10/10 for the unemployed.
终于全成就了,小高有参与的线(除了喜剧篇和连续防卫篇)、休闲篇、独裁政权篇、青春篇都挺可以的。其他线推荐有很多时间的人玩吧,纯折磨。
