Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 9 → 4.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

very fun beat it in 34 minutes and im still not gonna refund, exactly what i used to play in malls or casino arcades but better. really confused abt the negative reviews

MEHHHHHHH The game is mediocre
The "Mixed" review score when I posted this review is 100% justified (went thumbs up because I had to click something and I like the original game). It's basically the original arcade game with updated graphics (which look good in HD but you can tell it's Unity), the same voices and a much worse soundtrack. And apparently no Sega involvement and it shows. It's easy to play with a controller but I'd recommend trying to play with a mouse instead. As an arcade game originally it's not long, you can easily beat it in 30 minutes, but the multiple paths and more are where the replay value comes in. It looks great but otherwise feels like a rush job. IF this game is on a huge sale for $2.50-3, then it's worth a pickup (I got it in a bundle with the sequel for $12). But if it's more than $3-5, wait for a big sale.
THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD: Remake is fun enough for the 30 or so minutes it lasts, but at its $24.99 price point, it feels like absolute highway robbery. I bought it on sale for $2.99, and even that is a bit of a stretch to be honest. The game is enjoyable; it’s simple, fast, and easy to jump into, and there are a decent number of settings to mess around with depending on how you want to play. But this is a very barebones remake. It’s essentially the original game with a fresh coat of paint, and not much more than that. For what it is, I had fun with it. But there just isn’t enough content here to justify any asking price above a single dollar. At a deep discount, it’s a fun little arcade throwback. At full price, absolutely not worth it unless you have money to waste. (I'll put as little effort into my review as the developers did into this remake, so my review for both this and the remake of HOD2 will be near identical as they are pretty much the same experience).
The House of the Dead Remake is everything you'd expect from a revamp of an old-school 90s zombie rail shooter. It's fun, all too brief, but still provides enough entertainment solo or with a friend. However, it still feels like a missed opportunity to stuff it full of some worthwhile new content. I would say its worth a buy especially if its on sale.
forced to refund. crashes 100% of the time when trying to start a run and none of the fixes i looked up helped. HOTD deserves better than this.
Aim trainer with zombies xd
It's an average action game, I don't remember which platform this game came from, but it migrated to the remaster. There is a frequent shortage of ammunition, hordes of enemies, but it is worth noting that this game trains accuracy and attention, otherwise you will not pass. For an amateur.
