This is what we all imagined that cancelled SWAT4 zombie mod was gonna be and I'm totally here for it. i won this game in a reddit raffle. Gameplay is NICE! boink with decapitation and ragdoll. Unlock katana and become sword. Personally I prefer to completely forget how to word and grab the left 4 dead shotgun with night vision goggles. Story EXISTS! They wrote something and it's possible to follow along. You do not need a game guide to figure this game out although you may end up doing back tracking between levels to complete all objectives, unlock all doors* Replay-ability! New Game+, in addition to a Challenge Mode. Unlock move speed modifiers and health kits after first game completion. Multiplayer available, not sure about cross compatability yet however this game does exist stand alone on the Oculus store.

I was recommended Containment Initiative by a friend. A VR zombie shooter that can be played with a friend on the same PC. Sounds really fun right! Well, I was more than surprised to see how addictive this simple zombie shooter is. First of all, guns are punchy and loud. Every gun sounds like an actual gun. There is an AR-15 in the game and my GOD it is sounds beautiful. Quote from the friend that recommended the game "sounds like God snapping his fingers himself". There are a variety of guns ranging from pistols to grenade launchers. Also all of the guns are satisfying to reload. Soundtrack is good and can vary in sound. Sometimes you will be met with a cool guitar riff preparing you for a fun zombie genocide. Other times you will have an eerie atmospheric white noise in the background that makes your skin crawl. Decent soundtrack that is good at setting the mood. Controls are easy to learn. It took my girlfriend (who is not VR savvy) just two missions to start slaying zombies easily. Zombies are generic looking but you kind of forget about it once you start popping heads in a row. There are special zombies called "Mutants". They are there to keep you on your toes and not mindlessly shoot (even though it's fun to do so). Zombies and Mutants will stagger and react to your gunshots. COOP is where the game truly shines. I have felt panic (in a good fun way of course) struggling to reload while a zombie runs at me, then for my friend to swoop in and save my ass. I have had a few instances of covering a buddy while they go for a much needed ammo pickup placed in a horde of zombies. Or having my ass saved while we both take on a separate horde at once.It's nice knowing you have another pair of eyes behind your back. PC player is only given limited options when it comes to guns. Only pistols and sniper rifles with upgrades that I can see. Also VR player is given infinite ammo while PC player is required to fill their ammo pockets from pickups. I can understand the limited options for PC players so the game does not become too easy. The game actually is quite difficult without a buddy so if both players had an unlimited arsenal the game would be trivial. Overall, if you like COOP zombie shooters get it. If you like realistic guns in your VR game then get it. HELL, if you have 10 bucks and a good friend with a VR headset get the game cause it's that fun!

when i bought this i thought it was fun till i relized there wasnt much i could do but stand there and shoot and i needed a secound player. would i recomand the game yes. but be warned if you are not into arcade shooter this isnt the game for you. but if you love arcade like shooter games then have fun

[h1]Not good[/h1] Another terrible game, released in a state that should not of been. Devs these days think they can make rubbish get you to buy it on the "promise" it will be improved, but it really doesn't get any better or they take the money and run.

Trash. Concept of local coop is interesting, but not new. Aaand that's all pros of this. Looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥, plays the same. Worth 1 dollar, but not 7
