The First Mine

They had me at hex. When doing the xth discovery queue in a row ignoring most within a blink of the eye, this one popped up and the first glance at it put me on hold. I didn't even try out the demo and I don't regret it. Yes, it's another hex tile game with wood and what not and it's most certainly only a matter of time until a funny guy asks if this is like Dorf Romantik but I so love those games and this one also just has its own thing. Place tiles well (no undo), manage resources, upgrade stuff, endure droughts and fires and what not... Fight for your place on that leader board or just enjoy playing... You can choose between - 3 board sizes (tiles stack sizes of 50, 100 & 200 tiles). - 3 difficulties - 6 characters with their own benefits I love the graphics and the music is quite nice. There are no keybinds but there's not much to it in this kind of games. I play mouse only. It works just fine for me. I play on PC but tried the Deck too. It is playable but text is unreadable, even zoomed in and for some bizarre reason, UI size can only be shrunk now and I can only place tiles in the lower half of the screen so you'd have to move a lot. But I hope these issues will get solved and it will probably be a joy to play it on the Deck too. Choosing 2560*1440 works for 3440*1440. Text is fine again.

Игра легко описывается - нечего не понятно,но очень интересно) Вот честно. Нечего не понял,но вроде интуитивно пнял и с третего раза победил) Против кого,как,но победил) Если вы любите эксперементы,некий род стртегий, за 200р я считаю это стоит попробовать.

A fun game reminiscent of tile-placement board games, with the various synergies and upgrades!

A nice little game to play when you want something short and to the point. Definitely has a lot of replay value, and is easy to get the hang of. Haven't experienced any bugs, and it's a nice game to chill to between long games

It's a great little game that focusses on one game mode. So don't expect hundreds of hours of gameplay. But it's one of those little puzzle games that I'm likely to fire up every now and then, and it is definitely worth the few bucks it costs.

Honestly, it's a fun single player board game esque title. But instead of playing against opponents in real time, you need to balance your resources, citizens and tiles to defeat your opponents on the leader board. Currently ranked 4th, but I feel like I can do better! Great job Stefan, what a fun game.

A cozy little game

I got this game for free early via Keymailer. I think its a decent little puzzle game. I play Dorfromantik quite frequently when I'm just taking a break from more in depth gameplay. This is a good substitute that is fairly similar. It has a few things that i think improve upon that style of tile puzzle builder game. You can upgrade tiles to get more resources to improve the mine and towns. It's a small add on but I missed it jumping straight into the game. I would suggest starting with the tutorial first on this game. Some of the tiles have a negative effect on other tiles while the bonus for placement really pushes you to plan out and pay attention to the next tiles you get more than other games like this. I haven't had a ton of time to play it yet, but I will definitely dive back into it soon.

Quick number maximizing game, little to no stress. If you like watching your yields go up in Civilization, give this a go
