Very good souls like
Best combat of any Souls/Niohlike.
so good
very mid, level design sucks ass but bosses are somewhat cool
This game is good. It has it's flaws like VERY repetitive bosses, too much reused them. The side-mission felt somewhat tedious, but the idea to return to the previous locations under different circumstances was pretty interesting. The story was maybe a bit generic, but I liked it never the less. But the trailer and the video from the menu spoils a bit the story lol. Anyway the game was good, and if it will have a continuation, I hope the devs will improve upon what they had in this part.
Lots of fun, it's souls but there's difficulty settings so it you wanna take it nice and easy you can. Generous parry and dodge windows and enemy movesets that don't make you scream at the monitor. On top of that the combat is fluid with a lot of options so you don't feel like you have your hands tied while getting kicked in the balls. Story is whatever and every now and then when an area loads there's some quick loading jitter.
Probably one of the best soulslikes that isn't a FromSoftware game. Boss fights feel fantastic and the game leans a little more into spectacle fighter territory, like recent God of War games. Regular level exploration doesn't feel as good or rewarding, but it's still decent. The game unfortunately still uses Denuvo, which harms performance, but the hit isn't as bad as in Lies of P, for example. I played the game on expert difficulty and found it to be quite difficult.
