Welcome to The Fabled Woods, a dark and mysterious narrative short story. Despite the picturesque beauty, ugly and terrible secrets lurk among the shifting boughs, darkness that no amount of dappled sunlight can erase. Take the first step, and experience an unforgettable journey.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ja- was soll ich sagen?

It feels a bit like the tail wagged the dog on this one. I cannot explain precisely why, but I get the feeling that the design of this game started with the assets that they had available and that they worked backwards to craft a narrative story to support the objects that they had at their disposal. That feeling persisted throughout, as the visuals were decent and yet everything else felt a bit half-baked. This is not the most engaging or interesting walking sim / narrative adventure in the world, but there are far worse out there. It is quite short, which is not a bad thing, as it is just about as long as necessary for the surprisingly dark little story that they decided to tell. Is that story worth your time? That answer will probably differ from person to person. I neither loved nor hated my time with this game. I was not impressed but I was not necessarily bored, either. It is visually interesting in parts. If you are a real nut for walking sims / narrative adventures and you have the chance to pick this up for around a buck, it is not such a bad way to spend 45 minutes to an hour.
Beautiful walking simulator. A bit weird story. Short Normal price is overpriced, but if you get this with good discount (-90%) then it's well worth. Easyish Achievements, 100% / ~1h. (+couple hours idling for cards)
Gerngeschehen. Vollpreis 10€ ?! Am Poppes :D
Simply nice walking sim with a good story, graphics and the thrilling touch. No more than that should be mentioned for it is to be completed at one sitting. If you have a heart on that I do recommend the game - on sale! For one buck it is a bargain, but with whole price it is a robbery,
Graphics - 9.7/10 Story - 8.5/10 Controls - 10/10 Soundtrack - 7.8/10 Gameplay - walking-sim/10 Neat little game. Short. Nice warm environment in the woods. No horror elements but looks something like horror. Story of forgiveness.
What a great game. I just purchased it last night, and played tonight and enjoyed it from strat to finish. No annoying bugs or glitches, no stress, just a nice walk through the forest with voiceovers. The sounds were so realistic I really thought I was in a forest. The visuals were relaly great too. The game was very short, I walked msot of it and ran a bit so took me 1h 20 to finish. The voice acting was great. What impressed me was the visuals of the forest and sounds. I thnik I read somewhere it was dark in some areas, which I do agree like when I was in th cabin, I could hardly see some things. Some of the books didnt have a "SPACE TO READ" so you couldnt read it, and had to angle the book, and still couldnt read it, I only made out some text. I did notice one minor glitch but it didnt bother me, Sara was talking, I was wlaking along the path, and one or her lines got cut out and instant moved onto the next line, but when the guy was speaking that didn't happen. If you haven't played this walking simulator go play it. Its pretty impressive and won't takel long. It took me around 1h 20 to finish. There are 2 endings but I only did one :) 8/10 game - GO PLAY IT. The game is a bit exepensive so only get it on special. I got it for $1.15 on bargain discount.
