ENIGMA TECHNOLOGIES invites you to delve into the mind of an AI. Seamlessly blending first-person exploration with point-and-click mechanics, THE ENIGMA MACHINE's completely unique presentation offers an increasingly unnerving atmosphere.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.22/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is amazing. It is an incredibly atmospheric art project that will really stick with you. There's not too many experiences that only cost $5 that you know you'll remember and be thinking about for years. It's only about an hour long commitment. Draw the blinds, put on some headphones, use your intoxicant of choice (if that's your thing), and just fully immerse yourself. It's a unique experience.
Pretty good, got my heart rate up for sure. Really unique graphics even though they can be very motion sickness inducing. I enjoyed the gameplay and puzzles and I'm looking forward to playing the rest of the trilogy. It's worth noting that there's a core gameplay mechanic that simply doesn't work if you're over 60fps, so if you get the gun and can't shoot try locking your framerate to 60.

Short and horrible. In an incredible way. The visuals are just so much, very hard to look at, and the sounds can get very loud. The whole experience was disorienting and disturbing. Not at all suitable for people sensitive to headache inducing glitchy visuals. But it was incredibly effective with its unsettling and weird atmosphere. I enjoyed the simple puzzles, the storytelling, and the inventive approach to horror. I feel like the money grabbing slop of real life AI has sort of ruined its use as a powerful storytelling tool about humanity, consciousness and agency. This is a story about that, not a creatively bankrupt consumer product that somebody has churned out using AI. Big difference. Top tier creativity in this piece of art! EDIT My game ran very smoothly, but apparently there is a bug that people can experience if their screen refresh rate is set above 60fps. If you set your monitor refresh rate to 60hz or below, and possibly also play in windowed mode, you hopefully will not encounter this issue.
This game has a bug that prevents you from finishing the game unless you change your refresh rate.
Typically the kind of game you're better off watching a playtrough on youtube than playing it yourself. It's extremely short and there's nothing much about it. Cool visuals, cool idea, bad execution.
Short 1hr game, a few simple puzzles, but a lot of worldbuilding and flavor. I found the experience pretty fun. Overall, a very cool and interesting game that left me looking forward to playing the rest of the trilogy. However, I had to use NVIDIA Control Panel to limit my refresh rate to 60Hz in order to actually finish the game. A major mechanic will be bugged if you do not do this. Super annoying and ruined the great immersion that the game did so well to build up. Apart from that, I don't have any complaints.

Highly Recommend! I have to say, I had my doubts when switching careers initially. But after completing this intensive course on the inner workings of AIs, I feel ready to take on my future as a RADE Agent!
really cool and interesting little game, but please take their warning about epilepsy/flashing lights seriously! I normally don't get motion sick from most games, but the ending sequence of the game made me violently nauseous. Still had a great experience overall though!
Very intriguing story, very well done environment and mood.
