The wondrous, the amazing. Skyrim Special Edition. The dungeon Rating. Dragon battling. Magical wonder. Now available in VR. There is literally no reason you should not play this game. The only reason being if you don't have a VR headset. The base game version of VR. Is nothing to behold. But with mods. The game is so much better. The best mods I could recommend to a brand new player. Higgs. planck and vrik And why not put some graphical mods in there too, if your PC can handle it? What are you waiting for? Buy this game already.
my dad brought home this game i was 13, its been 11 years or more. i get a chance to play in it is so cool. love you dad! THANKS BETHESDA
great game should try
Complete crap! I mean complete! First minute is crap and makes you nauseous. Only way to make it kinda workable is to download and setup and rune unkown .exe files to get a kinda ok VR experience if your lucky. First time I spent 4-5 hour\s and got it acceptable for an hour then a year later tried it again and spent 3-4 hours and couldn't get it working again....complete waist of time and money. Bethesda should be ashamed at putting out garbage like this and take it off the market or fix it!
Honestly I stand around way too much in this game. Even with mods and everything. The menu "portion" game of skyrim is too intrusive. You will really notice how much of the game you actually just spend standing around waiting or fiddling in menus when in vr. Skyrim's game design as a whole does not work with vr no matter how much you mod it unless you get an overhaul mod that completely deletes the ui and menus from the game, which I'm not aware exists. And I don't mean "immersive hide ui" mods, I mean modding the game so hard that you no longer even have an inventory menu you can bring up with the push of a button and everything you can carry is on your person (or a physical sack that you have to carry around). You can improve the combat, graphics, add holstering, magic gestures, jogging in place to move, and all kinds of cool vr-esque stuff, but you cannot escape the ui and menus which honestly eats up 80% of your gameplay time. That's fine when playing the game flat, you're seated the entire time anyway and you don't have a thing strapped to your face with limited battery life. When I want to play in vr, the number one thing I want to be doing is moving. If you want an immediate example of what I mean, if you look at blade and sorcery which is a pure vr game, shopping is a more immersive experience. You walk around the isles, can pick up items to try them out or examine them, bring them to the counter to buy them then carry them to your stash. In skyrim? Open a menu. Looting a body in b&s? Kick over their corpse because they're usually laying on their weapon and pick their weapon up. Skyrim? Their corpse is a menu. Looting items? Pick up the item and gesture it into your chest, as if you were putting it in a shirt pocket or something. Skyrim? Click the item and it is instantly in your inventory. B&S doesn't have "crafting" but the crystal skill learning feature is the closest thing to it where you have to put crystals into a thingy and grope the balls to learn, but in Skyrim? A menu. You get it.
Another skyrim lmao
i am furious to find out that this game is un playable out of the box. the engine wont run past 90hz without mods and fixes. only answers i can find is that this is a flat screen game forces to be a vr game and is old. then why is it still 50q on steam and broken out of the box.... this game has been around for ever and they should keep it updated. NOTE: if u buy this be prepared to tinker with it ALOT! before u can play. so good luck getting your refund if u can work it out
Within Five Minutes of this, i experienced extreme Motion Sickness, which i usually dont even get touched by. Mods feel almost necessariy, as a lot of things appearently require fixing by external force. Point is, if your stomach is strong, and you like chaos, go for it. But its not for everyone, which is why im giving it a negative.
