TO ANYONE WHO SEES THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not play this game without mods. The vanilla experience is not great but with the FUS mod pack it becomes one of the best vr games to every exist maybe even the best. There are other great mod packs but I recommend FUS because it gives the vanilla experience with improved visuals and VR gameplay mechanics.
I enjoy being able to hold nazeem up by his neck and dragging him to the throat of the world and throwing him off.
Downright horrible without mods. An overt cash-grab form Bethesda. However, I can totally recommend this if you really want to play Skyrim VR and are willing to spend some additional money and a lot of your time to mod it to the point of being fun. Bethesda doesn't deserve to make any extra money off this game than that which they made of the the original Skyrim sales. They effectively did the bare-minimum to make the game playable (not enjoyable, just playable) in VR, knowing they would be propped up by the free labor of the modding community.
I spent hours researching mods. I went with a list of 20 that people said were essential to fix this for VR. I did this before ever trying the game. It's still broken even with mods. Avoid PC to VR ports even if they claim mods will fix it.
Mods bring this game together, vanilla you shouldn't even try. Get on sale not worth $60
Cool to try it out in VR but it feels like a cheap money grab from Bethesda rather than a proper VR edition, this is a game with outdated graphics and bare minimum of built in VR interactions, without mods it feels pretty bland, and mod installation process is not very smooth. I think it's only worth to get it on a sale, people on reddit joke that you spend more time on mods installation rather than on playing the game and I guess it's kinda true
Get it on sale, mod the s**t out of it and get lost in one of the most immersive games ever coded, I have hundreds of hours in the flat screen version, this version will see me far beyond that.
Are you kidding me? Sneaking by crouching down, crawling up behind some bandit, flipping my dagger to hold it under-hand then plunging it into his shoulder?
They barely changed the game when making this port. They do not deserve to charge you full price AGAIN. Buy a game key or repack.
sad that the game is only playable once you download an entire mod loader and mods, but if u want to play with floating hands and a 2 handed weapon that isnt even 2 handed then by all means lock in on this ported pile of money-grabbed slop. But i can say with QOL mods the game is really amazing and for sure worth the purchase.
