Gran Juego, pero lo voy a parar de jugar un tiempo hasta que arreglen la gran cantidad de bugs que tienen. Ya no me carga la barra de magia por ejemplo. Les faltan las piernas a varios NPCs y hay misiones rotas.

This remaster brings updated graphics, a new UI, and many gameplay changes to the 2006 classic. Main Changes: New art style with a shifted color palette (more muted earth tones) and altered spell effects. Revised UI with better inventory visibility and sorting, but more confirmation pop-ups and limited buff icons. Enemy health reduced by roughly 50-60% on average. Slower melee combat, removed fatigue damage multipliers, and weaker knockback/stagger effects. Stronger bows and faster magic skill leveling. Altered casting mechanics and a new magicka regeneration formula. Loading screens remain noticeably long. While the game looks prettier and some systems are easier to access, the remaster does not really respect the old classic game. The developers appear to have misunderstood what made the original special, its unique "balance", combat feel, skill progression pacing, and identity. Many changes alter the core experience in ways that feel unnecessary or detrimental rather than faithful improvements. If you loved the original for its specific challenge, depth, and character, this version may disappoint. It’s still playable and brings in new players, but it changes too much of what defined Oblivion. For many classic games (especially RPGs from the 90s/2000s), the modding community has a stronger track record of creating respectful, high-quality “remasters” than official ones. Official remasters often prioritize new visuals and broad appeal, sometimes at the cost of the soul of the original. Respect for the original vision: Mods like Daggerfall Unity and OpenMW (Morrowind) keep the core gameplay, balance, and feel intact while modernizing them. They add options to toggle features back to vanilla. Bug fixes & Quality of Life: They fix long-standing bugs, improve performance, add modern controls, higher resolutions, widescreen support, and better mod compatibility, without overhauling the game’s identity. Community-driven: Modders are usually huge fans who understand exactly what made the original great. They listen to feedback and offer customization (hundreds of options, vanilla-plus modes, etc.). No corporate pressure: No need for heavy graphical overhauls that hurt performance or change art direction just for marketing. They focus on what actually improves the experience. Recommended ONLY for: New players or those wanting a visually refreshed but noticeably different experience.
This was very disappointing to me because Oblivion was one of my favorite games of all time. With great remorse I had to refund this purchase. The performance was actually fine for me, but there would occasionally be very low pixel count trees and bushes randomly in the landscape. They should not call this a "remaster" but only a "reskinning" or something because all they did was give it better graphics. Literally that's it, the gameplay mechanics and bugs and everything are the same as the original. What did it for me was when I got stuck on the main questline and was unable to proceed further in the game, and this was very early on. It was stuck on an infinite loading screen when exiting an area. As other reviewers mention, it is actually more buggy than the original. I would advise getting the original and modding it over this hot mess.
i would not recommend buying this game for the vanilla experience, but I would recommend buying this game if you are Ok with modding it. This game has not been updated since shortly after it came out, and the devs(most likely Bethesda) have seemingly abandoned it, with a lot of problems. PROS: Good graphics. Better combat. More QOL. Some bug fixes. CONS: Poor performance. Still the Oblivion jank underneath the pretty graphics. Bugs and Glitches happen, so save often. 2 handed weapons swing slower than their damage can make up for, so 2 handed weapons are basically unusable. Interior places default to the world map. Enemy weapons fly off into the world and are sometimes very hard to find. Followers are not all essential, and will likely stand in your way, and get killed. Quest NPCs walk very slowly, not respecting our time. The torch position, on the screen, makes it very hard to see.
its oblivion, but better looking.
Such a wasted opportunity. In 3 hours of play, I crashed to desktop 3 times, always while changing areas. Out of 9 attempts to launch the game, only 3 succeeded. The others froze on a black screen and I needed to force quit. When moving to a new area, the loading screens often took more than 30 seconds. When moving to a new area, it often took 20-30 for the objects to render. I was so hopeful. I am so disappointed. Got a refund.
Remaster is pretty good. never really played any Elder scrolls games... the remaster makes it look like a new game, with the great game design we are missing from 20 years ago... a Morrowind Remaster would be good too!
Awesome remake!
