We really need to address the problem with remastered and remake games. Both Gothic 1 Remake and Oblivion Remastered suffer from the same issue. Both of them are legitimately unplayable because of their poor performance. This is of course because they're both using Unreal Engine 5. At Battlehorn alone, I get a stable 30 FPS with a 3080 Ti on the lowest settings, DLSS set to Ultra Performance, and even with performance mods installed. It's genuinely so sad to see this becoming the new norm, releasing unplayable garbage while forcing players to spend hours searching the internet for a way to get the game running at a stable 60 FPS. If you want to play Oblivion, just play the original. They're both broken anyway, so you might as well pick the one that doesn't run like trash or crash every two seconds.
fix it
crashes. trying to finish game but its hard because it keeps crashing
Unfortunately, it seems this game is going to be left in an unoptimized state and the lack of official mod support makes it harder for modders to fix the game. I am scared for the Fallout 3 and New Vegas remasters considering the state of this game.
0/10 Ни оптимизации, ни модов, нет ни малейшего смысла покупать это говно, берите оригинал
Yep its' Just the way you remember it with one exception... It crashes A LOT. It's better to just remember how fun it was rather than waste your money on this... There's one way to see if I'm lying! $$$
It makes me sad that a game that has been known for a long time and loved by many is getting a revival, where the developers don't bother to do more with it, because you have to download a mod for it to make it run fairly stably.
