Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 9 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A wonderful puzzle game with meaningful themes and beautiful atmosphere. -- The Eightfold Path is an intriguing puzzle game that is deeply influenced by Buddhist philosophy. It's an open world that's scattered with puzzles, that range from opportunties for acts of compassion, brain teasers and expressions of Buddhist ideas. There are Buddhist quotes that you can find throughout that guide the player, both thematically and as subtle hints to the puzzles. I'm still early on, but I am enjoying the game. It is clear there are many secrets to uncover, and the game respects your intelligence enough to not hand-hold you through the whole process of solving the puzzles. It has a wonderfully contemplative atmosphere that comes from the serene soundtrack and the minimalist, yet charming pixel art that is full of life with its little animations as you move about the world, or sit in meditation. I'm eager to see where the game goes, but I can already see that it's a game made with love and one that is offering a meaningful experience to players, and can recommend it based on that already. [edit] I've completed the game, here are my additional thoughts. I really enjoyed it, the puzzles were very creative and I appreciated the subtle hints and symbolism behind the puzzles. I appreciated how the game rewarded patience, attention and kindness, reinforcing the themes of mastering the mind and compassion. It was an excellent dispaly of Buddhist philosophies, and one that uniquely allowed the player to put those ideas into practice. Whether you know anything about Buddhism or not, there's fun to be had from the puzzles, and there are universal poignant themes about kindness and the pursuit of self-mastery.

I give this game ten meditating monkeys out of ten.
Its a very hard or even impossible game. This was my impression and then I started to pay attention... Buddhist conceptions appear in text boxes and in gameplay. You have to pay attention and be patient to pass puzzles. You will die and reborn several times, until learn how to solve a puzzle. I really like the way to defeat the demons because is a very buddhist way. There is a connection between the steps (of Eightfold Path) and their representative animals and type of puzzles but tell more would be spoiler. The game doesnt use many resources. I could play with bronswer and oficce in process.
Just started the game and its fun and atmospheric so far. I personally find the enemy activation bounds, particularly for the torch guys, a little to big, especially where the skeleton is. Overall just a few minor hot-fixes would be appreciated. Aside from that it's a beautifully handcrafted experience I'm glad exists to project the values of Buddhism!
A very calm game, in which you can explore, solve puzzles, meditate and find some things to think about. I liked how you can meditate anytime in this game, sometimes it has consequences in the game, but you can do this just because you feel like it. The game is not linear, you can go in any direction and explore the map. While thinking about the Buddhism concepts along the way.
Cozy game. Learn about the Eightfold Path.
neat game
This game is beautiful. The art style is beautiful. The world is beautiful. The sound design and music is beautiful. The implementation of the meditation as a mechanic is beautiful. The things it tries to teach are beautiful. This game is also incredibly frustrating and suffers from game design issues. Pathways are long, meandering, and maze like, difficult to navigate and lacking any sort of map or signage to help you keep track of where you've been - so I hope you remember every aspect of this complex map across every play session. Also you walk extremely slowly. The puzzles range from cryptic (the rabbit puzzle) to unforgiving of even slight error (trying to move boulders in a cave). If you "die" you get sent back to a random checkpoint, sometimes it's a million miles from where you just were and there's no way of choosing or knowing how to get back to where you were, so making progress can be very tedious. Sometimes an enemy can fly off the edge of the map and even if you know what you need to do to stop it (no spoilers), there's no time do execute on it. The same is true if you stop the game and pick it back up. Are you where you left off? Not likely. So now time to fumble around fro 15 minutes to find another puzzle to attempt to solve. Overall, I need to reiterate, I find the game beautiful and enjoyable aesthetically, the mechanics reflect the things they're trying to teach, but it could use an update to polish out some of the issues if it wants to be accessible to a wider audience than the most hardcore and dedicated exploration puzzle solvers (and I suspect with the philosophy they teach, that is something the creators would like).
The game is amazing, beautiful, calm, full of detail, and really puts you in the right headspace. I will review again after completing, but loving the experience so far.
