Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

So, let's take a second and talk about the game and if it's worth your time and money. Honestly, not really, unless you're getting it on a discount. Knowing from the get-go that some of the original devs and director from Dead Space worked on this game was the main draw. Needless to say, I was very excited to get down to brass tacks on survival horror. However, what you're getting feels like a direct rip-off of Dead Space 1 and 2 in some segments. Overall, during my game time, the only thing I kept thinking about was playing Dead Space instead of The Callisto Protocol. How does the gameplay stack up? I'm very underwhelmed by the lack of options when it comes to mechanics. I've heard and seen many similarities to "The Last of Us" when it comes to the combat of bashing Biophage zombies. Once you're into the groove of bashing and avoiding attacks, there's not much else you need. Finding this option to be fairly overpowered, the melee element does become your bread and butter for attacking single enemies. Sneaking around is somewhat useful when the level and area supports the mechanic, though it's obvious when they want you to use this feature instead of incorporating it throughout the whole game. Then, getting into some blatant moves that you'll use to trivialize the game, let's talk about the GRP (Gravity Restraint Projector). Once relatively powered up with some upgrades, this becomes the difference between hard and easy mode for many sections. Tossing enemies off platforms, into spikes, and into other mechanized monstrosities allows you to bypass what might otherwise be somewhat difficult. Regarding the actual weapons of the game, there's not much to talk about. I didn't care for auto-aim being enabled by default, as I felt it should be an opt-in during the opening tutorial. Guns and weapons are all basic if you've played any other survival horror or action game. Weapon upgrades do feel meaningful, as you'll notice differences right away. The upgrade paths are kind of like a dartboard, meaning that anything you upgrade tends to be pretty useful in the moment. With the money and options available, you'll be close to finishing the tree by the end of the game, as long as you've been observant and grabbing high-value loot items that you can sell. Gameplay-wise, there wasn't too much that got me excited. Your health and GRP (Gravity Restraint Projector) being displayed on the back of your neck are useful to a point, though it was genuinely hard to tell what the GRP was at until it ran out. The scripted events during each fight felt clunky and strange, as some elements force their way in. You'll find that some melee swings seem to be stopped in their tracks by an enemy, even when your attack should have clearly landed. Other than those sticking points, it was fairly fluid to the point where I didn't notice much else. Level design could be way better, incorporating more variety instead of the straight and narrow. Falling into the older style of games from the 2000s–2010s, everything is straightforward without much deviation. Some players might find this to be fine, and so do I to an extent, but I would like to see some other ideas tried. For example, making better use of sneak attacks throughout the game, possibly by using vents to get the jump on enemies, or even adding level puzzles to direct or trick enemies into traps. You can tell that they wanted to stick with certain elements and kept the playbook simplified. Is this a bad game or a good game? From everything I experienced, it's middle of the road, and I really can't choose a side. If I had come in knowing nothing of Dead Space, I'd probably have a different opinion. To be perfectly honest, I really wanted to like this game, and during my playthrough I did enjoy my time with it. With that being said, I most likely won't be back, but I do recommend it if you've been on the fence. Just make sure you're getting it during a sale — $15–20 feels about right. Overall, 50/100. It wants to be something that it's not and has a hard time delivering on the horror

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 27: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Needed a good space horror game since Alien Isolation 2 seems to be forever in limbo
Flawed, but the overall experience is enjoyable. There's a nice weight to combat even if combat is repetitive and shallow.
♥♥♥♥ this game buggy af and optimization like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, dont buy this go play dead space remake (play original if you cant afford)
Graphics and gameplay are great but combat system is laggy. This game needs more optimisation.
i finally picked this up on sale and played it and it's a good game .. it's a knock off fix until the game it copied actually comes out and i can finally get down to business .. Down side can't store or sell the weapons you picked up so you either build them or leave them unbuilt so they wont clutter your inventory with ammo you'll never use ..
Just finished the game. I honestly don't get the hate, it's a very fun game, with impressive graphics! Had a few jumpscares. Overall, I liked it and had a very fun time. Probably won't happen, but hopefully they come back with a sequel. Thanks team of TCP.
