While the game is not the best one, it's fun to play and solve the puzzles

This one is a tough one to review. I like horror games of all kinds, and this one was about middle of the pack in terms of quality. I was interested enough to finish it despite not finishing many games these days, but I was kind of bored and just wanted it to be done by the end, and the twist at the end was so predictable that most people could probably figure it out from the beginning. Puzzles are a mixed bag. Some of them are kind of neat, and others are kind of frustrating, but at least they were never so obscure that I couldn't figure them out myself. The main character was kind of a man-child. I stuck around for his wife, who was awesome and adorable. There were a lot of different gameplay ideas utilized in this game, but they pretty much all boiled down to: 1. Walk around and find clues. 2. Be chased by something in a chase sequence. There was a LOT of walking with nothing much going on. It got tedious. I think the most annoying gameplay device was when they'd send me to a location, then tell me that I needed an item from the place I just came from, and I'd have to run all the way back. You know, after writing this all out, I no longer think that it's hard to review this. It gets a thumbs down. It could have been better with some editing to tweak some of the longer sequences and unnecessary puzzles, and the storyline needed some improvements to make it less obvious what the ending would be. I'd only recommend on sale and if you're tolerant towards walking simulators with a mediocre plot. Also, Emma is awesome. Best waifu.
