Reviews
I was not going to write a review because, well, it was already getting bombed hard enough. Rightfully so. However, I come back every so often to see if things have changed and let me just say it appears that some of these positive reviews are bought. The accounts these reviews come from are new, low game count accounts that exist probably for just this purpose. There's no way anyone in their right mind would write that "The game is ... probably the best horror game I have ever played." It's just not possible unless, I guess, this is the ONLY horror game they've ever played. There's bugs galore, menus are different in every place they appear, no way to change or even view the keybinds, lights with emissive textures but no actual emission, etc. My review is from one of the first days of the release so it's entirely possible some things have changed since then but the amount of positive reviews is just straight up false. Giving the solo dev credit, thanking him for his work and providing feedback that he's worked on with a positive review? Sure. Being "one of the only horror games that has really made me jump out of my chair from fear"? No freaking way. EDIT: Want proof? Sort reviews by recent and look at the two immediately after mine. If those aren't paid or friends or whatever, then I'll accept to be castrated. ----- EDIT2 after Dev response: Hello hotkeyss, Thanks for taking the time to respond. Regardless of the feedback you've gotten here on your store page, I hope that you've enjoyed your time making this game. While I don't believe I insinuated that you, specifically, were the one that had these reviews commissioned, it's apparent that they're cookie-cutter style. So whether you / a family member / friend / whatever had some reviews bought / requested / obtained, it's very hard to refute their style, as if these reviewers were given an outline of what to write. Just taking the last two, sorted by most recent after mine, you have the following: - Game is good - Sure game has bugs - You were warned about bugs - Game will be better in the future - Explicitly mentions the character models There is at least one more review that follows this procedure as well. Don't get me wrong, I'm not harping on you in the least. In fact, I commend you for taking the feedback as you have. I can only imagine how disheartening it is to release a game to this type of reception that you had such high hopes for, but you have taken it in stride and shown only poise and professionalism in your responses. I have taken stock that you've been working hard to rectify the issues mentioned, and squash bugs. I hope that you continue to improve this game, and your next release goes much smoother. Hopefully without the fishy feedback, wherever they're coming from. Best of luck.

Game is riddled witch glitches. Interacting with Q in single player makes the lights go crazy, objects glitching out of distance, buttons don't work, it's really frustrating considering I just started the game up and there are huge glitches to the game. Shouldn't have been brought out, should've been tested on different systems before release. Will update when game becomes playable. EDIT: It gets worse. Lightning bugs, after interacting with any object whatsoever, you can just "fall out" of the map, nothing works, unplayable. Literally unplayable.
Damn i'd rather do anal with a cactus than play this bug fest, You cant even invite friends into multiplayer
PUPPETEERS raised every single hair on my body. The singleplayer campaign is exceptionally well made, and the replayability with the multiplayer makes this game a must-have. The multiplayer has a gameplay style similar to DEVOUR, just with some unique traits such as masks, traps, animations per puppet and such. I recommend this game to everyone.
Aktuell noch viele Bugs, aber super Spielprinzip. Gute Jumpscares. Gute Grafik. Coop. Macht Spaß zu zocken.
definitely has a lot of bugs to fix! But as far as atmosphere its creepy and really fun with friends. The game has a lot of potential to be really great just give the game some time.
I can only blame myself for purchasing a game with mostly negative reviews. I clearly should have ignored this one. The graphics are faded and washed out. There is also a strange lighting effect that washes everything out even more and is very distracting. None of the settings save, nor do they seem to change anything. I had to use a -popupwindow resolution fix in the launch options to get fullscreen. The fov is too low with no way to adjust and the camera has a constant wobbly tilting back and forth movement that made me almost hurl. You cannot remap the controls or manually save the game. The mouse sensitivity is too high even on the lowest setting. The game is also not scary at all. I knew I was in for a bad game when encountering the opening screen that apologizes for all the bugs. Overall, I did not enjoy my experience with this game and I cannot recommend it.
Started this game with no context to what it was! I love the style of the map design, LOVE the camera movements and the puzzles are amazing! - My only flaw with the game thus far is a fair few interactions with 'Q' do not work, instead you have to press 'E' - And then also I got stuck trying to open the cellar door, I completed the pre-challenge, got what I needed for the door, but could not open it unless I restarted the game. All-in-All, It's day one of release so I'm not too fussed with minor bugs as it's understandable! Absolutely loving this game so far and CANNOT WAIT to see where it goes in the future!
