The Bard for Her

Well this was... Surprisingly not what I expected to happen. For some reason... This game has sort of a spooky/horror-like setting going for it (or maybe it's me reading in the dark of night...) I honestly thought that there would be a far crazier twist... As in the MC getting murderer... >.> Let's face it... If you play this game and go through majority of the content... It'll feel that way too lol. Basically... It is what's written in the summary. You meet/talk (VN DUH) and then the story advances. But you will never get lost. There are no quests and... There is a save point in EVERY SCENE/ROOM. I like that. There are five women with their own troubles, the MC as well and while he shows them their way -> they do the same for him. I do like the lessons... Even all the psychoticness of the individual stories. I even FORGOT that this game had lewd CGs! I was like... "WAAAAA?!"... Honestly, if you are here for that... Great, but the story is so much more than it's nude scenes... Which are well drawn. But those women's psychotic eyes... Brrr! The overall story twist was good... The follow-up twist was good too, but uhm... It doesn't really say the FULL truth/gives confirmation about the institution... So can we assume that things aren't the way they are presented? Eh? EHH?! This is a rather good way to promote your other games too, which pop up after you finished the game. Kudos and... Thank you!!! :> :) =) P.S. How do you even handle five women at once? Keep 'em all happy? A mystery in itself... (This is related to the story... Not personal preferences... XD... *-*)

This "game" didn't interest me at all. I guess I'm not a fan of JRPG's.

The story is linear, and easy, simple. It gives you different perspectives on the main character, and if it weren't linear, quite a bit more horrifying. I'd thought over what possibilities there were between task missives, and realized I would evaluate how I felt about each of the characters the MC finds; because there are only two horses in the stables if you were to rapidly escape death with only one other character. I am more content with the linear ending that involves all characters because the MC has strengths and opportunities I don't have. It shows the player how they could be happy, in the way the MC pursues. He's emotionally supportive, almost no matter what the people he starts to like have done. There is an embrace for the hidden things in the morally grey. That is appealing to me; an escape from being misunderstood by others for merely trying to express any direct feelings. The puzzle in finding the correct song to unlock new dialogue for each character was the most playable aspect, and how to use the save points properly to explore that. I had no issue to play whatever I wanted and to play something meaningful for the characters the MC visited. The MC's lute is really soothing and enjoyable, I wonder if the creator(s) performed it themselves or made it digitally. Most of the art is a lot higher quality than I thought it'd be. I can see why the MC found the other characters beautiful on the outside too, beside their good intents each merged with a unique darkness. It philosophically examines what is dark and misunderstood or hidden that people are capable of. I am content with what the MC embraces and discerns. I really appreciate this game and its uplifting melancholy.

Despite the "Adult Only" tag, don't expect much in the way of 18+ Content. It's very minimal, and very much not the highlight of the game. I enjoyed the story, albeit short and a bit generic. It's short and sweet and overall is pretty good. I recommend it for the story, not for the "scenes".

Акцент на сюжете. Беготня туда сюда - поболтали, полабызались, поспали и по новой но у же с другой. Локации не большой проходится в принципе быстро. Что не понравилось: Контента для взрослых - мало и в качестве слабовато (если ради него то точно не сюда). т.к. сюжет линейный к чему это беготня... читать диалоги и наслаждаться сюжетом удобнее без этой беготни. В общем слабовато наверное рекомендовать сложно кому то. 4 из 10
