Welcome to The Ascent Group arcology, a corporate-run metropolis stretching high into the sky and filled with creatures from all over the galaxy. You play as a worker, enslaved by the company that owns you and everyone else in your district. One day, you are suddenly caught in a vortex of catastrophic events: The Ascent Group shuts down for unknown reasons and the survival of your district is threatened. You must take up arms and embark on a new mission to find out what started it all.
You belong to the corporation. Can you survive without it?
Play the entire game alone or work together with up to three friends in local or online co-op.
Aim low or high, switch weapons and equip lethal gadgets, take cover and use the destructible environments at your advantage and keep adjusting your tactic as you face new enemies.
Customize your character with cyberware that suits your playstyle. Allocate new skill points as you level-up and try various augmentations to take down your enemies in new creative ways.
Meet new allies and enemies and find loot as you explore the brimming world of The Ascent and its wide range of districts, from the deep slums to the higher luxury spheres.

Utter trash, do not buy, do not waste your time and money. I really like top-down shooters and ARGPS and cyberpunk, and thought this would be an awesome combination of these features and setting. In reality this is a clumsy and unplayable ARPG, where your character moves unresponsively, enemies spawn from everywhere around, guns have a super limited engagement window, the map is a story-limited narrow linear corridor, pretending to be an open-world map. The worst of all is that it took me 3 hours to find out that this is a really nice looking fake shooter and fake ARPG with zero playability and I have wasted 10 bucks on this trash with Steam refusing me a refund. Damn be the developers.
The game still have the save game bug from years ago. Ive uninstalled, deleted the folders, etc, and the game still loads 1 save and only 1 save. You still dont save progress as a co op player. Its a shame they have all this great artwork and assets that are wasted a garbage coding team. Just let AI do it at this point and fire the people working on it.

This game is graphically stunning, this game is amazing for someone looking for good top down action with some RPG elements to it, the outfit customizin is very nice and pretty detailed, the upgrading is satisfying as well as the action, you feel like you get stronger evenly with your foes, I have crashed once but ive read some reviews about the recent crashing but the devs just posted an update coming soon so hopefully that gets fixed soon, but other than the one crash I had this game is amazing, I have not expeirenced co-op yet, i will buy this for a friend on sale one day so I cant speak for co-op yet
