Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.44/day in the week to Aug 4 → 31.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Игра огонь. Зависает иногда намертво, но да ладно, терпимо
Muitos efeitos de particula e iluminação. Shooter top down com estetica cyberpunk futurista.

THIS GAME IS PURE EPIC! PROBABLY MY NEW FAVORITE GAME! In all honesty, i played this years ago and forgot I owned it... because the first stage was BORING AF! and I gave up... But once you get past the BS, its EPIC AF!
gameplay wise i like it, it reminds me a lot of satelite reign and i love that game, but graphics take a biiiiiig toll on the pc, at least mine, even on the lowest graphic settings which looks like a blob basicly. i would give the game a 7 outa 10, it's good, very good gameply wise but it's hard to enjoy for long if my pc heats up my entire room in 1 hour.
I think I picked this game up soon after release, but played only a few hours until I got stuck at a big mech in the Cosmodrome. I quite frankly lost interest when I could not get passed that excruciatingly difficult boss encounter. Several years passed, but I never quite forgot the game. If you like cyberpunk then the vast & highly detailed environments of The Ascent will surely leave an impression on you. This is even more impressive considering Neon Giant was just about a dozen developers when they were making this game. Very impressed about what they've achieved here. So yeah, The Ascent doesn't hold your hand and just throws you into this vast and beautiful game without much hand-holding. Sure, there is a Codex that showers you with lore and - albeit brief - tutorials but it works about as well as it did in Destiny: Ain't nobody got time for that. I didn't know I can take the Metro, call a Taxi from almost anywhere and when I got stuck in the Cosmodrome all those years ago I hadn't even properly skilled my character or sufficiently upgraded my guns. This game can be punishingly difficult when you show up to a higher level fight unprepared. Anyway, fast forward a few years and I finally gave The Ascent another shot. Turns out you can simply leave a mission area and level up your character somewhere else when you get stuck. That's pretty cool. So I left that boss to its own devices, found and upgraded a better weapon, some augmentations, a few pieces of kit and... in fact this game was finally starting to have a good loop. Sure, it took me about a third of my playthrough to really get into the groove but when it finally clicked it was just fun. The story of the game is serviceable. Nothing I'd write any hymns about, but oh well, it did tie the game together and for some reason I liked it when the fat lady from yCorp came around to have one of her top-down chats with my silent protagonist. Good voice acting all things considered. I looked at other reviews and there's been a lot of chatter about bugs and crashes. I have solely played the game in single-player and I had a single crash in almost 26 hours. That's quite okay in my book. Oh also, speaking of crashes I want to mention performance. The game runs quite well on my computer but as so many other games it is hellbent on giving you an absurd maximum stats everything at full-tilt frames per second. Honestly, hundreds of frames per second does absolutely nothing in an isometric shooter apart from turning my computer into a jet-engine and heating up the room. The game ran just as beautifully when locked to vsynced 60 fps and DLSS enabled. No noise, no heat, no issues. All in all, yes I do recommend The Ascent.
This is a pretty and fun game. The Left Trigger mechanics aren't explained well enough in the tutorial, but once you realize you shouldn't use that to aim, it is pretty straight forward to play, etc.
Très bon jeu se déroulant dans un univers cyberpunk , beau graphisme avec beaucoup de détails . Dommage qu'il soit juste sous-titré et pas en VF intégrale .
The game is worth every penny tbh. N look! its on sale!
