Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.44/day in the week to Aug 4 → 31.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

я киберпанк, мой лёд ломали. но каждому разрабу последних уровней нужно лося прописать, я серьёзно.
Despite some issues with online co op, the game was very fun to play! The gameplay is simple and sometimes mindless but fun, the ost goes hard during the fights and gives you a rush and the voice actors did a great job voicing the characters for the most part. But the real draw is the visuals, so many great screenshots to be taken as you walk through the map, many cool looking boss designs and the cities are great too(Despite some of them being slightly too similar). On the other hand the story, while decent, kinda lost me with all the technobabble at times, the end was a bit anticlimactic too (both fight and story wise). I did love listening to some of them talking though, especially the hacker. Will definitely recommend giving this a try, both in SP and MP despite the aforementioned problems

Decent game, worth to buy it at a discount. Not worth the full price.
Your bosses' name is Poone.
Got to this game late, but I'm glad I found it. Old school gamer here who was heavily influenced by Bullfrog's Syndicate games. I've always been looking for games which could capture that spirt, and before The Ascent only Frozen Synapse had worked for me. I had high hopes for Satellite Reign but it didn't work out. The Ascent isn't perfect, and you'll probably need to like APRGs to put up with its flaws but, most important to me, the game has character. You can tell real work went into the world design and lore and I can forgive some gameplay flaws as a result. For example, I heard a radio announcement that the Ascenders were accepting test subjects in exchange for a complementary hat. Without context the statement makes no sense, but with context you understand the desperate drive to acquire "flair" which governs that group. Give the game a shot if you either want a twitch games with light RPG elements, or you enjoy cyberpunk and want to get lost in a reasonably well built world.
While I recommend this game, it's fun and the whole setting is cool... BUYER BEWARE!!!!! it is full of bugs, you will suffer frame drops, crashing, freezing, missions not activating, tasks when at mission sights not appearing and so on...all mostly requiring ALT-F4.
The Ascent is one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. The graphics, gameplay and settings art are top notch. However, the glitches and bugs in the game prevent a fully immersive experience. Some boss battles literally take hours to grind. Seems way unbalanced. Be prepared to be frustrated as the game moves higher into the storyline when encountering bosses. The last fight is so buggy... I've killed the EGB at least 4 times and the ending scripts never load! You just run around an empty platform. This is a known issue and one that has a stupid work around. I still cant get it to work. Aside from that, I love the game. It's graphic... blood and body parts exploding... all the fun stuff. Character design is so cool... the enemies are a bit repetitive, but in a world this big its to be expected. Its cheap now... definitely worth the price. If the devs would just fix the bugs, it would be an almost perfect TSS.
Great game. Looking forward for the next game from Neon Giant
Hell of a lot of fun, excellent bacdrops and feel.
