Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I enjoyed the game a lot. Just finished up with the true ending after 42 hours. Though there's quite a bit of walking away on a pause screen in there. So maybe more like 35ish hours. Beautiful game. Great music. Enjoyed the combat and most of the weapons. I really do think you need to add an option to completely turn off the companions outside of cutscenes. I turned on reticent and my companion is still talking every 10-15 seconds. What exactly is reticent about that? Maybe if she only said each line once... but it's the same lines over and over and over hundreds of times even on reticent throughout the completion of the game. Eventually I just changed the dialogue to Japanese so it was easier to ignore. But I really shouldn't need to do that right? 7/10 for me. Would have been closer to an 8.5 or 9/10 if reticent was actually reticent or if there was an option to just completely turn it off.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Elliot is fun for what it is but it does leave you wanting more on all fronts. The standout features across the board for me is the music, character art, and voice acting. But I feel a bit indifferent to call the game anything more than an okay experience that you probably won't look back on. Gameplay has quite a lot of player expression but the combat never really asks too much from you. So that power of choice often feels wasted. The story is as vanilla as it gets. If you've played a JRPG you will feel right at home. Nothing about it is overly ambitious or offensive, so nothing really sticks out. To me, Elliot feels like a Team Asano first draft rather than a finale product. It feels like it was made to fill in a gap for something bigger on the way, and I hope it's a more endearing sequel. I think the big positive to me is the fact that the game feels and looks amazing on handhelds like the Steam Deck. It also is a short 20-ish hour experience, so it does not overstay it's welcome. I wish Steam had a mixed review feature because I'd personally only really recommend it on a sale or the price of something similar to 30-35 USD.
FIrst off. I LOVED This game. I thought it was a masterpiece. The mechanics, weapons, QOL, upgrade systems. I thought they were fantastic and modern and worked with the 2.5HD retro feel, but gave the game tons of depth. I HATE that they reused enemies (theres like only 10-15 different enemies that they dont even reskin, they just reuse. I HATE that the 4 maps are the same. The only thing that changes is the town. Feels like such a missed opportunity. WIth all that being said, i put this game as a must play and 8/10. The true ending is totally worth it too.
Updated Review. 60 is too much for the game, 40 would have been a great price. Anyone complaining about "it being so easy", probably played it on easy. The game is clearly not designed to scratch the itch for hardcore players, but you can limit yourself by playing it on harder difficulties. If you just want to play the story and not in the mood for too much hassle with bosses, play it on Easy. You want more of a challenge, play it on Very Hard. If you play it on Hard you just fool yourself, the difference is not really there. Very Hard is very doable for gamers, it is not really that much harder, you just lose the revive mechanic and your health bar is pretty much 30% of what Easy mode is. I think people are a bit too harsh with their reviews, because it is a game that costs 60, and I get that. But the game overal is great and I think that if you like the 2D Zelda games from way back, you will enjoy this. If you for some reason think Faie is annoying (I think you are wrong), you can turn her down a notch in the setting menu, so you can listen to the sound of a grunting man instead. Story is fine, it has a fun use of time travel. It is not the greatest story, but it tells a more unique story than usually. Go into the story as a Young Adult novel and you will enjoy it very much. Overal I think the game is fine, again not worth 60. I wouldn't mind if it was 50, but I think 40 is more realistic. That said, wait for a decent discount for about 30-40 and you will enjoy it a plenty.
