I am not a great precision player but I have played through and loved Celeste multiple times. This game feels more frustrating to me but if you have the patience and dexterity it is enjoyable. I will persevere. Story is slow and town segments drag on.

Pretty fun and medium length platformer, it took me about 20 hours to 100%. While a couple of the optional rooms and end games rooms were decently long none of them were excessively so, and of the 250ish optional rooms for the game's collectibles only one of them was a nonsense room that required me to look up how to even do it. (though for about 5-10% of the rooms I looked up where they were accessible from, because they tend to be somewhat hidden and while there's usually an indicator of where a secret is, I didn't always notice it.) Be warned however that a couple of the main chapters have [spoiler]chase sequences[/spoiler] and while they weren't too bad, some people find any instance of that intolerable.

hype, awesome game. Just have a feel issues (double input) using the controller (im using a dualsense) in the mac version, that i didnt have using the same controller on the windows version

If you enjoyed Celeste, there's a good chance you'll enjoy TetherGeist. The difficulty starts off easy and gradually becomes challenging in a fair and rewarding way. While it shares some similarities with Celeste, it stands out with creative abilities that keep introducing fresh gameplay ideas throughout the adventure. I spent around 13–14 hours with it and had a great time. Despite a few bugs and glitches, the fun easily outweighed the issues. Overall, it's a great platformer that's definitely worth playing.

[h3]シンプル操作で奥深い。精密プラットフォーマー好きならぜひ遊んでほしい一作[/h3] 本作はステージクリア型の精密プラットフォーマーで、各ステージごとに追加される「スピリット」を駆使しながら進んでいく。反射神経だけではなく、タイミングやルート構築、ギミックの使い方を考えるパズル的な面白さもある。 最大の特徴は操作のシンプルさ。 使用ボタンは実質3つ（移動を除く）。 ・ ジャンプ ・ インタラクト ・ スピリット使用 ステージではジャンプとスピリット使用だけで最後まで遊べる。 アクションごとにボタン数を増やして難易度を上げるのではなく、単一ボタンから生まれる多彩なギミックでプレイヤーのテクニックや判断力を試してくる設計が秀逸。操作に迷うことがなく、純粋にアクションへ集中できる。 操作キャラの落下速度は比較的ゆっくりで、一つひとつを丁寧に操作して攻略するタイプ。リトライも驚くほど速く、ミスしたことに気付かず操作を続け、そのまま復帰地点で再びミスをしてしまうほどテンポが良い。 音楽も落ち着いたヒーリング調で、シンプルなUIや心地よいSEと相まって、何度も挑戦するゲームでありながらストレスを感じにくい。 通常クリアだけなら極端に難しくないが、「Red Atropas」や「Journal Pages」というアイテムを集めて真エンディングを目指すと一気に歯応えが増す。収集好きややり込み派にも十分応えてくれている。 『Celeste』を思い浮かべる人も多いジャンルだが、本作は世界観やアート、音楽、そしてシンプル操作を活かしたゲームデザインなど独自の魅力に溢れている。 気になった点は、街の住人との会話が全体的に長めなこと。本編と直接的に関係ない話も多い一方で、サイドクエストや真エンドに必要な会話も混ざっているため、テンポ良く進めたい人には少々もどかしい。 また、一部の隠し通路は外見から判別できず、実績コンプを目指す場合はSteamガイドを参考にした方が快適だと思う。 私が遭遇した不具合は以下の2点。 ・ フルスクリーンからウィンドウ表示へ切り替えると強制終了 ・ 特定のスピリット使用時、ごく稀に障害物を無視して画面外まで飛び続ける浪漫飛行バグ 翻訳は意味は伝わるもの少し没入感を削ぐレベル。 [h3]まとめ[/h3] 本作には「高難易度」のタグが付いているが、クリアだけなら極端に難しい作品ではないと感じた。リトライの早さとシンプルな操作のおかげで挑戦しやすく、少しずつ上達を実感できる絶妙なバランスに仕上がっている。 精密プラットフォーマーとしては間違いなく上位に入る完成度。 Demo版は日本語未対応ではあるが、本作のアクションに言葉は不要なので、少しでも気になったならプレイをしてみてほしい。 忘れた頃に、また遊びたくなる。 そんな魅力を持った作品。超おすすめ👍 【プレイ時間の目安】 ・通常クリア：約12時間 ・真エンド：約23時間 ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・ 【おまけ（実績メモ）】 本作の実績は大半が真エンディングを目指す過程で自然に解除できるが、一部だけ条件が非常に分かりづらいものがあるため黒塗りで補足。 『Snappy』 [spoiler]スピリット使用ボタンを何もない場所で連打する。[/spoiler] 『Cut that out』 [spoiler]しゃがみ（↓入力）を連打する。[/spoiler] 『Firecracker』 [spoiler]ゲーム中では一切説明されない、スピードランで使用される特殊テクニック。解除手順は以下の通り。 ① 赤い実（Pepper）のスピリットを取得する ② Pepperを使用する（左右どちら向きでも可） ③ ジャンプボタンを押しっぱなしにする ④ Pepperの使用回数が残っていない状態でスピリットを解除（Pop）すると解除 なお、本作にはスピリット使用中に障害物をすり抜け、そのまま画面外まで飛び続けてしまうバグが存在するため、それと勘違いしやすいので注意。[/spoiler]

One of the most engaging precision platformer I've played, I hope it will get more recognition in the future because it deserves way more attention than this. Absolutely loved looking for every secret in the game. If you enjoyed Celeste, give TetherGeist a shot. I'm sure you'll like it as well.

This game is a great precision platformer with the same identity as Celeste. Difficult, single screen 2D platforming with quick restarts and spot on character control. An absolute blast to work through. Definitely a recommend to anyone who enjoys challenging platforming
