7/10 - Get it on a sale - Great music - Awful boss design - Swamp is by far the worst - Would be better if the entire area wasn't in the game-- Enemies have more health the more areas you clear, so obviously you clear the areas that you don't want to play first. Why is swamp the worst? Tentacle final boss. You run around killing tentacles until the boss health bar depletes. The tentacles teleport. The screen is filled with projectiles, and the non poison ground randomly disappears. Also, the tentacles TELEPORT. - zero difficulty slider - Doesn't play well with a controller - Unlocks are gated behind stupidly difficult conditions - "As Sword, survive a challenge room w/out taking 1 single hit in damage, you also can't dash, oh, and do it 3 times. Oh, also all in one run." - Uses the fact it gave you the ability to deflect some projectiles, in order to FILL the screen with bullets - Obnoxiously scarce on restoring health, so you die a slow unsatisfying death from making few mistakes.... or you chose to play Sword, and the game goes "You know what? fck your everything for not wanting to play the stupid boomerang guy", and for the 10th fcking mutation in a row, enemies explode on death.
While Deflector has some very innovative ideas, I felt it does not provide longevity as well as other roguelike titles I have played. While I did enjoy the game, I think it's missing an element that compels the player to continue playing after beating the game. Deflector takes the bullet-heaven formula and adds a satisfying twist with its deflection mechanic. Bouncing projectiles back at enemies feels great and gives combat a more active, skill-based edge than most games in the genre. Runs are fast, upgrades are interesting, and mastering enemy patterns is genuinely rewarding. A solid roguelite for anyone who likes action-packed gameplay with a bit more involvement.
I had a blast playing this game but I am a roguelite like(r). And this game is pretty good but there aren’t rotating bosses and anything really unique. It’s hard to stand out with all the games that are out there but I’d you are thinking of buying and playing this game or adding it to your backlog it’s a good choice.
非常好游戏

I really want to like this, but there is jsut to much stuff you have to keep track of when you play
Amazing game! The gameplay is fun, challenging and addictive. Has a really nice artstyle and great variety. A must play!
