Hunt down massive beasts and, upon destroying them, shapeshift into their forms in order to use their powers to save or destroy the world. Players with less violent intent can find secret paths to complete Mable without killing anything, including bosses.

To put it simply, this game is frustrating and a little bit buggy. You hardly ever feel like you are in control of the movements, i had to do a lot of backtracking to find keys so i could progress and i didn't like how the map worked. Not everething was bad, i enjoyed first two bosses, graphics is nice and music is good also. So if you find it on -75% discount it might be worth to give it a shot, otherwise avoid it. I personally just rage quitted and decided to write this review, i doubt that i'm ever going to finish this game.
It's a great concept, but honestly it's not executed well enough to maintain my interest over the rest of my library. This game has various glaring issues with both its wildly varying difficulty from "skippably easy" to "why didn't that work" due to controls and timing, and the annoyances due to bugs and design flaws. I don't even care enough to go in-depth. Read other reviews, it's Mixed for a reason.
The mechanism for motion / combat in this game is fairly unique. The ability to do mostly pacifist or completely pacifist runs and get different endings, with greater difficulty due to lacking the additional boss-unlocked powers, is also interesting. However, the fact that you do not continually have access to a minimap, and that you frequently end up taking one-way paths-of-no-return, make -attempting- a pacifist run enormously frustrating, as if you don't take exactly the correct sequence of one-way-paths, you end up missing out on needed keys, and end up having to abort the run. Without doing a normal run first (as I should've) I had no way of telling if the route I was taking was the pacifist-acceptable one or if I was ruining the entire run, since there's no (in-game) way of copying saves so that I could back-up the save, attempt a path, and see if was 'safe' or not. All in all, maybe if I didn't attempt a pacifist run first my opinion would be higher, but this was just too frustrating, leading to over 10 complete resets in my three hours of playtime.
Awkward, terrible controls ruin what could otherwise be an interesting game with good pixel art. Your character is clunky, slow, and dies very quickly.
Very poor mechanics and the game also needs to be improved in other matters too. I lost my interest very quickly.
I like the concept but it falls flat in a few areas: Physics, Collision, Mapping, and Other small issues. I don't totally have an issue with how combat works in this game but it just dosen't feel that good and polished, neither does a lot of the game. I hope either a huge rework could be made or i hope a sequel that fleshes this concept out and polishes everything comes out because this is a cool idea but just gets watered down by the game being how it is. I can tell the devs understand and put their hearts in this as well which makes it even more dissapointed.
So I deeply respect what this game was going for, it's unique and cute. But the movement is a bit too janky for me to dedicate hours to beating it.
Too buggy. The spider and ghost forms don't work well (mostly the ghost form, I just ended up dashing to the right of the screen always). I also just tried playing from the start again after months of not touching this game, I think I got stuck in the caves? I only had the base ability and I was unable to go anywhere due to locked doors, stone walls, and not having enough flight time to get out through where I came in :/ Too bad, a game where you play as a shapeshifter sounds so fun
BEFORE WE START...
Ah.... This game big of wasted potencial... Big... Damn... Wasted... Potencial...
WHO IS GENIOUS BEHIND THIS FIGHTING GAMEPLAY MECHANICS?
Seriously who? Its so basic and weird... We gotta fly with changing in to fairy, leave our sword behing, past our enemies then call our sword back to attack them... Wow... Thats... Totaly amazing... Yeah why they should add most basic thing you can do with sword right? Doing different things is better than doing well maked things i gues... These things aside we have some different forms change gameplay little bit. Those are: Spider Form, Fairy Form, Stone Form, Mole Form and Medusa Form, but sadly all of them are annoying... And with this gameplay nor visuals or story is dont take interest of players like me... Sadly gameplay is worst part of this game and this is not Movie, Anime or TV Show, its damn game so i we need good gameplay...
STORY AND STORY TELLING IS WELL WRITED?
Well... Our story is kind of interesting but i cant say our story or story telling is well writed. Its kind of good i gues? But not that amazing.
THESE VISUAL DETAILS ARE TOTALY WASTED...
Our game have amazing visual style/drawings and every place in game looks pretty cool/cute/amazing. Its so sad to see its wasted with annoying gameplay like this...
OUTCOME EVALUATION
This game have amazing potencial to became amazing game, but its need gameplay overhaul and i dont think DEV's gonna do that... Gameplay is pretty annoying and with this gameplay enjoying main story nor visuals (which is amazing parts of our games) is pretty much imposible...
RATINGS
[*]Story = 5 [*]Gameplay Mechanics = 3 [*]BOSS Fights And Enemy Variety = 5 [*]Visual Details = 8 [*]General Rating = 5.2
