TetherGeist
Excelllent 2D platformer akin to Celeste.
After completing the game at 100%, this is my review : The game is fun and challenging, having multiple mechanics makes it very interesting and forces you to think things diffenrently for each levels. There are still things, like the camera being a bit slow and other things, that make me rate the game 6/10 Still, I feel that the studio had a great idea and i'll try other games that they make. And i'm sure they'll have learned from this one to make the next even better
The critisism about accesibility and some unpolished / unintuitive UI is valid. For the rest the game deliveres in being a satisfying precision platformer. I must say it can be very difficult at times and definitely is not for the casual platformer enjoyer but the mechanics are innovative. I finished the game in about 5 hours (main story, without focussing on all the side quests). I must say I didn't have the urge or ambition to try and go back and do all the sidequest stuff. For that the game is just a bit too tedious. Though just playing through the main story was a blast and I would definitiley recommend it to people that like difficult precision platformers. If you are hesitant or feel like 5 hours isn't too much, get it on sale. Its worth it.
The jellyfish in world 2 are the worst. But after world 2 you don't need to deal with them as much anymore, and the platforming goes back to having a nice flow, a combination of puzzle and precision that feels satisfying when you get it right.
Excellent precision platformer with tight controls and well designed levels. Really scratches that Celeste itch
Tehg raphics are great and the movement mechanics are super interesting. Kinda hard to master sometimes though. I like finding all the hidden flowers.
Pretty fun game. At the beginning It reminded me a lot of Celeste, but as you progress new mechanics are added, and it ends up becoming it's own thing, and it's a good one. The mechanics are interesting, there's good challenge, the game looks pretty, the music is good, very good game overall, highly recommended if you like precision platformers.
I'm loving this game. I've always wanted a game that hits the same way as Celeste in the precision platforming genre and this game brings a refreshing take on it. I'm on chapter 3 and have been enjoying what the game has offered so far. I especially love the cute artstyle, the cutscenes (comic book style) and the UI inspirations from Celeste. Each chapter has introduced a new mechanic which keeps the levels fresh and prevents it from getting stale. Thanks for this amazing game and providing me with a key to try it out! Please keep making games <3
Great Precision platformer game. Even with a very simple control scheme, it manages to introduce complex and challenging levels. The movement feels very satisfying too. Would love to see added content like challenge levels and such
