Terminator: Resistance

This game has a really good story—it's a lot of fun, and I really like it! It’s not particularly long, but it’s not too short either—when I saw the Terminator unit for the first time, it was a real “wow” moment! It was a little scary for me, but it felt really good, just like in the Terminator movie. After I finished the game, I started over right away.

A fun and lore friendly dive into the Terminator franchise.

Ez egy jó kis single FPS a Terminator filmek jövőbéli háborújában. Hősünkkel különböző küldetéseket kell megoldani, van benne némi karakterfejlődés és egész szépen összehozták a cselekményt az első 2 filmmel. A dlc-k is jók, az egyikben Kyle Reese csapatában harcolunk, a másikban lehet kicsit terminátorkodni, levadászni a zsenge embereket. Nem hosszú, de élvezetes játék.

Finally, the T2 sequel we deserved (and it won't stress you out) If you're around my age, you probably grew up watching Terminator 2: Judgment Day on repeat. And if you're like me, you've been dissapointed by pretty much every Terminator movie and game released in the last 20 years. Well, good news: Terminator: Resistance is actually the real deal. I play this on my commute home, and honestly, it’s the perfect way to unwind after a long day at the office. The story fits perfectly into the "Future War" we saw in the flashbacks of the first two movies. It captures that specific 80s dark sci-fi atmosphere perfectly. The sound of the plasma rifles, the music, the design of the T-800s... it hits the nostalgia button hard. It feels like a love letter to the original films. The best part for a tired dad? The gameplay is easy. And I mean that in a good way. I dont have the energy for "Souls-like" difficulty when Im sitting on a moving train. You don't need lightning-fast reflexes here. You get to feel like a hero, blasting Skynet machines without sweating bullets. It’s a power fantasy, plain and simple. You can craft stuff, sneak a bit, or just go in guns blazing. It’s not a triple-A polished masterpiece, but it has heart. If you miss the glory days of Arnie and want a game that respects the lore without punishing you with insane difficulty, definately pick this up. It’s a fun, chill ride. Score: 9/10 for the nostalgia alone. Reccomended.
