Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.86/day in the week to Aug 10 → 12.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a recommendation with caveats. Space Engine is a program I'd hesitate to call a game in a traditional sense. You can, technically, spawn in spaceships and use them to fly around, but I've never engaged with that part of Space Engine. I use Space Engine to fly around, look at cool things, marvel at the universe, and maybe write some sci-fi for fun. The game can be somewhat intensive if you, like me, play on a laptop/ older machine, but I've not found anything else that does what Space Engine does. Finding a new star system almost always prompts me to start dreaming about other worlds, about how life might emerge on any of these planets, or how they might become colonies of some interstellar empire and develop a complex web of alliances, trade, and politics. Space Engine is not a game. Honestly, for me, It has more in common with a *writing tool*. But if you're looking for a program that does its level best to simulate every little factoid of a planet's orbit, composition, atmosphere, climate, and more- I've found nothing better. If you're looking to get just a little better at comprehending the incomprehensible scale of the universe by flying through space towards another planet, then shooting past it by ten lightyears because you forgot how fast you were going, this is it. It'll always hold a particular place in my heart.

In other Space sim sandbox game, you often feel lost...space is vast and empty, traveling is slow. Here is a different experience, F3 search in your star database, type in any planet name, or click on a random star, Go, instant light years speed travel to the start and saw its details on the top left screen is super awesome! If you turn on all the layers (on the right side toolbox), all visible stars' name right in front of your eyes, while you traveling through the stars. Plus it has a universe map (procedural generation for uncharted areas), very impressive. It's a must-have software for every earthlings when traveling through the universe. P.s. devs please add my KOI-4878.01 to the database. The Star (KOI-4878): A yellow dwarf star (specifically a G-type main-sequence star) located about 1,075 light-years away from Earth in the Draco constellation. The Planet (KOI-4878.01): Discovered by the Kepler space telescope, this is a highly Earth-like exoplanet candidate. It orbits within its star's habitable zone, making it a very promising candidate for potentially supporting life if its existence is officially confirmed. It's humanity's second home, not Mars.
