Tales of Lagoona 3: Frauds, Forgeries, and Fishsticks

First game was fun. Second game was fun. Third game is the same as the second... With everything fun removed. If you played the second one: you'll recognize majority of the areas/items and the park itself. They also added in "find two identical items in this mess" along with the H.O. scenes. Gone are: the items you can sell. Everything now depends HEAVILY on MINI-GAMES. Mini games were OPTIONAL in the second game. But if you want money and to finish the game? Better freaking start playing those games!!! What sucks is that the games aren't easy and some of them are luck based. ALSO... You can only access TWO mini-games in the beginning. One you need a bit of luck and tries and the other one... Hell if I know. I tried the luck one and unlocked a "key game"... Which I don't quite get... I probably can, but you know what? I don't want to! First and Second games were ENTERTAINING and this one is too FRUSTRATING! When your series was rather good... Why change it like this?! OH! And let's not forget the CRASHES that wipe your progress! For the level that is. But oh well... It's not like you tried, right? Pfft.

It isn't bad for a hidden object game; however, the side games seem to take control as one MUST play them too complete the main story. I am not a fan of the side games. I would not recommend this game for anyone that feels a need to complete a game when it is no longer fun or entertaining.

The game is not bad but it reminds HOGs from mobile phone. Maybe a port or PC clon. There is some story there but the whole game is about going through HO repeatedly in different places of the park. The game is thus monotonous. HO screens are relatively dark and objects are usually quite small. The only change is the place with a set of different mini-games where you can earn money to upgrade your park. They are quite original. The game is not so outdated but the HO screens are not modern. Do you want to solve a lot of different HO screens and relax this way? It is game for you. But finally I found myself in a recurring dream that I couldn't jump out of. The game is not bad but I expect something different from HOG.

Ich habe die ersten beiden Teile dieser Reihe gespielt und muss gestehen das ich diese sehr gut fand. Leider ist dieser Teil eine Enttäuschung. Die Wimmelbilder zu spielen bringt kaum Geld ein und die Automaten spiele genauso wenig. Ich habe es jetzt so lange gespielt und muss immer noch so viele Dinge im Spiel kaufen, das ich das Spiel jetzt aus Frust abbreche. Hätte mich persönlich mega gefreut wenn dieser Teil wie die ersten beiden gewesen wäre. Irgendwie bekommt man in diesem Teil das Gefühl das die Entwickler keine Lust mehr auf das Spiel hatten, schade eigentlich.

Die beiden Vorgänger haben wirklich Spaß gemacht. Aber dieses habe ich nicht mal zu Ende gespielt. Man sammelt kein Obst mehr für die Seepferdchen. Die Minispiele muss man sich nacheinander frei spielen, man muss auch die die man nicht so mag spielen. Man kann auch keine neue Gestaltung für den Park aussuchen, sondern ihn lediglich von Schutt befreien. Wie immer ist es sicherlich Geschmacksache, aber dieser Teil gefällt mir leider überhaupt nicht.

This series is one of the better puzzle games out there, with good variety, funny characters, decent story and nice visuals. This applies to all three in the series. My only complaints would be that there is no way to see how a frustrating puzzle is actual solved and I can't find any guides, and the one up card game seems hypersensitive. When moving a card to a pile it often decides you double clicked and banks the pile even though you didn't ask it to, ruining the chances of winning It seems related to how high you moved the curser and makes for a pretty un-fun game when you have to be super careful.

[h3] This fun story continues … [/h3] Collect items from HO scenes to either sell or to complete quests. The money can then be used to buy items to decorate the main scene. The graphics are colourful and the characters are funny and cute. Besides the HO scenes there are lots of mini puzzles which are enjoyable and not hard to solve.
