Reviews
What a banger of a game! Absolutely loved it. Great lore, very fine gameplay, enjoyable combat system. For an indie developer, this is definitely 10/10. Chef's kiss that you added the demo, it was the cinematic after the demo that made me buy the game.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I enjoyed that :) Tainted Grail features a dark world and interesting NPCs and stories. The world is open, however it feels like a setpiece. The lands are full of enemies who are waiting for You to approach them so You can enjoy the nordic battle-soundtrack (which is really good - all the music is very atmospheric and appropriately dark) Scenery and impressive views are far more important than believability. That does not necessarily mean it's bad, just be aware that the game is leaning more towards atmosphere and "oh that's interesting" rather than more believable camps, people working etc. like the Elder Scrolls games go for. It's a dying world and away from the cities there are barely any entities, let alone humans, that don't want to kill You. You can make a decent amount of decisions that impact their stories, the main quest will not be heavily influenced by that (except in the end sequence, where You basically get a quick rundown of what is happening as a result of Your actions) Good stuff, was nice, not a AAA game BUT: I payed 25€ for the thing and for that pricepoint I can wholeheartedly recommend it. There is a lot of gravitas in the stories (if You like You like, if not then not) and the combat system (I played a mage) feels really nice. Yeah Go Play
Skyrim but interesting.
Good RPG
Aye Arthur's back ya'll! Oh... How long did you leave him in the spin cycle for? How many centuries?! Well I guess its a wonder he can speak at all. Look at him. He's all sorts of ambivalent about atrocities and war crimes now. Oh he was always like that? Carry on then I guess. What we have in TG:tFoA is pretty solid (call it your classic 7/10) first person fantasy RPG. Dodge, parry, block, light attack, heavy attack, charge attack as you would expect. The combat here is well done and the game only occasionally pulls out the fast attack with a bad/obscure tell. So most of the time if your patient and methodical the game rewards that with triumph. If this genre has impressed you before I think this is a solid enough entry to be worth a try. Pros: Some fun writing (more humor than you would expect from the dark theme), solid combat, cool weapons, a meaty perk system, good spell variety. Cons: Late game unique gear had the dumbest bonus stipulations and it was constant most of what I ended act 1 with was what I ended the game wit, act 3 felt underwhelming, The act 2 difficulty spike was a bit jarring. Overall I had a good time with it. This may be too niche a comparison but on one end of the scale I have Skyrim with the best open world but weakest combat and on the other end I have Avowed with the best combat but the most anemic open world and somewhere in the middle lies Tainted Grail serving up a solid entry for both. So give it a shot if you have interest.
cool.
Has me summoning demons in the shower, the music and voices are great.
story 10/10 gameplay 8.5/10 (a bit clunky but you get used to it quick) Graphics 10/10 the amount of different possibilities on choices is insane
