Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.57/day in the week to Aug 27 → 5.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Everything lasts 2 hour to do in this game. You talk to someone? No skip the "dialogue" which is some squeaking of a mouse. You wait and even after finishing the dialogue there is extra 2-3 seconds where you wait your mouse to shake his head in approval to finish the dialogue EVERY SINGLE TIME. You break an impassable terrain? It respawns after you die so you have to break it again which lasts another 10 seconds each time if you die during that quest. You died and returning to where you were during a quest? You have to watch your mouse bend down and find the "clue" all over again or watch some squeaking with a peasant all over again. You want buy an item from the stalls? You have to watch the squeaking for EVERY SINGLE ITEM. And you buy them ONE BY ONE. You cannot have 2 quests at the same time from the quest board. You have to do one and then return all the way back to the board to get the other quest. Why? Just why? I like other aspect of the game such as art direction and I will probably still finish finish game, but so far it's been a chore. And there are many other small design decisions that don't make sense. RESPECT. OUR. TIME.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 24: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Described as a 2D Souls-like, that's not exactly what Tails Of Iron is. It does, however, feature unforgiving combat and bosses you will need to observe and whose patterns you'll need to learn before you can defeat them. All of which will take place in a damaged but beautiful world, that is about to witness the Rats and the Frogs wage war on each other, once again. The Rat king, victorious over the Frog army many months ago, has gotten old and frail. That's the opportunity the leader of the Frogs was waiting for to take his revenge over the Rat clan, and it's up to you, the young heir, to defend your home. Tails of Iron is not your typical Souls-like. First of all, it's obviously in 2D. It's also not an RPG, as you can not level up or upgrade your weapons, and the story is not hidden in obscure item descriptions. It's told through childish drawings as the rats interact with one another, and amazingly narrated by Doug Cockle, voice actor of Geralt from the Witcher series. But the narration is not the only thing that's beautiful in Tails of Iron : the world and characters, hand-drawn, look straight out of a coloring book, with thick outlines and warm colors. Most of the animations remain basic, but the game looks really good. The combat is color-coded as the enemies announce their next attack, and a fun mix between parries, dodges and blocks. Attacks with a red circle affect a large area and cannot be blocked, you will usually dodge those. Red stripes announce a forward unblockable attack, and you should usually dodge those as well. Yellow thunderbolts attacks cannot be dodged, so you will usually have to parry them. Now, you've probably noticed that I've used "usually" every time. That's because in Tails of Iron, it always depends on your position, because there's no invincibility frames. It's about placement more than timing. It's about your knowledge of the enemies' attacks, more than your reaction to them. And that's what makes the game pretty unique ! Loot comes in the form of weapons and pieces of equipment, but there's too much of it. I didn't need 54 one-handed weapons and 45 helmets if their stats are going to be this similar. It's as if the game wanted to reward your exploration with something, but didn't have an idea of what that something could be. On the plus side, this encourages changing armor regularly to adapt to the type of enemies you're fighting. Frogs, bugs, other surprises... As you meet these different kinds of enemies, you'll also come across allies, who will sometimes join you and fight by your side for a while. Albeit short, those encounters are a fun and really cool idea. Tails of Iron is not a very long game, you'll see the end of its linear story in about 6 hours. The side-quests... are not actually side-quests. Most of them will be mandatory to progress, since you need gold to rebuild your castle. They're really basic fetch quests most of the time, even if fighting additional bosses is always welcome. The post-game is a little weird. After an abrupt ending to the main story, you're given even more fetch quests to rescue the members of a music band. There was some backtracking during the main game, but this is just 3 hours of litteral "go there and come back". Not the best. However there is also a Dlc, and it's free ! It comes with another beautiful environment and a few bosses, for 45 more minutes of ratting around. It introduces another difficulty setting as well, Bloody Whiskers, but it's not very fun. More unfair than difficult, all bosses and most enemy groups can stunlock you to death in a matter of seconds, and bosses move in fast forward during their second/third phase. I wouldn't recommend it, especially for a first playthrough. I've really enjoyed Tails of Iron. Its personality and charm make up for its linearity and the fact that's it's not very long. It's fun and a decent challenge as well, even if many deaths will be part of the learning experience. I'll give it a 7. A great experience whose visual style alone makes it worth checking out.

Jogo excelente.
