Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
Would I recommend this game? Yes and no. If you got friends to drag into the game with you? Yes, the gameplay is fun, the characters have pretty cool kits and all its lacking is players really. The thing is, as I'm writing the review, I've watched the first episode of GGO S2, done chatted with folks on discord, set up Kate to compile C++, started work on a locally running AI and I still haven't found a coop quest match. It's been 59 minutes already... please, for the love of everything, someone play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game! So yeah, play as a 4 stack maybe, then you can actually reach the endgame content. I've played this game on Arch Linux all throughout and the game is very much playable without issues. Time to go back to writing more AI code, maybe I'll have my own implementation of Yui before I get into a match. Also, 40$ is already a hefty price for this. I know how much work flows into games like these, but 30$ would have been the sweetspot, not 60$ I cannot motivate any of my friends to buy this game if they have to play through a mediocre story with cool characters that they may or may not be able to play next mission or won't find online coop quests to get to the endgame content that was the goal to reach to begin with. With that, have a wonderful day, I shall get back to work now. Cheers!

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Copy and Paste meine freunde das grenzt schon an Dreistigkeit hoch 10.
Good game at first but to much grinding. fun mechanics. Fun mmo but this be somthin if your a fan of sao but asside from that not much else to say.
Your lucky to find a lobby in multiplayer at all once you finish the 8-12 hour single player campaign.
I love the game itself, the concept is fantastic and it's the only SAO game I would recommend to people with no other interest in the franchise. But, as I expected when buying this game, it has one massive problem: it is almost entirely online and requires other players to play it. Which is a massive problem for what's essentially a very niche game. There simply are not enough players, especially since the playerbase is split across three different servers depending on geographical location. Sometimes, you may need to wait for half an hour only to play a 5 minute long mission. And even then, the lobby will be 50% bots. And I expect that to become even worse as time passes, since the playerbase seems to be shrinking rapidly. Which brings me to my second issue: the content is repetitive. After finishing the main story (which is alright. Nothing too great, but good nonetheless), players can pick between three activities: 1. Boss Raids (3 different bosses to pick from, take about 5 minutes to complete) 2. Co-Op Quests (a large amount of different maps to pick from, includes a boss at the end, take about 30 minutes to complete) 3. Free Roam (players get to roam freely across a randomly chosen map to collect treasure and fight generic enemies, 1 hour time limit but can be finished any time) At first, these are pretty fun. The problem is, they all play the exact same in the end. It gets repetitive real fast, and the only way to remedy this would be new content. And the last time new content was released as of writing this review was two months ago with a new playable character. Further DLC has been announced, but not even a release date is known so far. And the problem with the new content is the fact that it is behind a rather large paywall. So it's also clear that it won't be able to keep this game alive. Another option to keep the players engaged would be the battle pass system. Unfortunately though, these battle passes almost never contain any items worth grinding for. But as long as player numbers keep dwindling and wait times stay this long, the game is already dead after just 2 months.
Can't believe there is no way to mass select/highlight multiple blue and purple equipments for dismantling. I am not doing precision clicking 5 Thousands times in my inventory to dismantle them.
this game is to repetitive and the drop rate sucks wish i could refund
this game is already dead dont buy at full price
