Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 21 → 0.43/day in the week after.

Reviews
Don't even bother with this game. The game has confusing settings, such as HOW MUCH GRASS DO YOU WANT IN THE GAME LEVEL, that acts as if it's a trigger... but only has Low, Medium, and High as options. Not to mention that looking into the distance in levels lags the game to the point where you basically lose the ability to look in that direction.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this game exists on the cusp of both being good and being mediocre Problems, in no short order: Most, if not all, servers are based within Japan. Previously, there were three distinct regions: NA, EU, and JP. All the servers were consolidated together due to low player population on any server that wasn't JP during most hours. Unless you're playing single-player, you'll probably have 200+ ping if you're non-JP. Slow update cycles, for those who are inclined. The development team seems to be relatively small. While they're dedicated towards this game, the amount of content they can churn out may be a bit of a turn-off for those who are expecting substantial updates per season. Always-on(ish) game. The game can be played in single-player and offline in limited function but key things will be missing. Any DLC characters will be disabled until you reconnect. Any shop-bought cosmetics, for those who prefer fashion before form, will also be disabled. The core gameplay is tied to the online matches, so you'll be unable to enjoy the full experience offline. They are testing a single-player/offline mode that allows for full access to the game. Props to them. Aside from those problems, the core gameplay of a dungeon-raiding/boss fight experience is highly tuned though. Balancing in-game ensures no character is particularly weak, nor is a specific character a must-have for a team setup. Most characters have a clear identity within their class, and there's few instances of "oh this character is just x but better". Ignoring the latency problems, all the bosses have clear reads via the damage indicators that appear. The various equipment items you can equip have a degree of customizability, and can be tailored for a specific experience or boss. The entire end-game turns into a loadout-setup simulator essentially. If you enjoy it, bonus content for you! The game's alright, despite the steep asking price. So long as DIMPS continues to churn out content for the game rather than letting it fall by the wayside, the game is shaping up quite nicely since its rocky launch.
This game is an absolute single player masterpiece! For one thing, all in game dialog was RECORDED! No silent text with pointless sounds. And with the auto text advanced feature on, it plays out like episodes of the anime. The voice acting has actual anime quality effort vs what we got before this game. Gameplay is the best in the franchise history! You can swap to whoever you want mid combo to keep the game feeling fresh! Moreover, you can pull off amazing moves like recollection release! The combat is super fluid and snappy vs the clunk style of older sao games! The graphics are absolutely stunning! The visuals alone keep me coming back! It's like controlling the anime! The beautiful high fps support keeps the game smoother than butter! Honestly speaking the only thing this game is missing is an offline 1 vs cpu mode to let up have a free for all battle against whoever we want. If they ever add that it's the best sao game in history. I'm not interested in creating a character, or ignoring the story for online Gameplay. I love a story rich open world gaming experience! This is very much that gaming experience. I have zero complaints and the mixed rating are nonsensical given the amazing experience I've had. Couldn't reccomend this title enough.
Game is multiplayer only. There aren't many players, so you literally can't play and will be stuck in queues forever.
