Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've started using this simulator again to prepare myself for 2028.
I don't know. The game is technically not bad overall. It’s a bit of a strange mix of a city-building simulator, RTS, and Civilization. But overall, it’s just rather boring. The game has quests, but they’re pretty easy to complete. Your colonists die, but more always come to take their place. I’ve heard that evil colonists can infiltrate your colony or something like that, but I haven’t seen it myself. Relationships with other factions are regulated in a strange way, and so on. The specialists, meaning the units under your direct control, are interesting, but the game doesn’t develop this idea. In my opinion, it would be much more engaging if they were heroes with specific stats, upgrades, and so on. Well, yes, these characters do have unique stats and traits, but they don’t develop beyond their initial parameters. Game as a whole feels slow and uneventful. Any problems are resolved quite easily. It’s not a bad game if you enjoy city-building simulators and similar genres. But it doesn’t convey the feeling of survival in post-apocalyptic wastelands like the Fallout series. Change the models and names, and the game would be indistinguishable from an ordinary, bland medieval city simulator.

So this game is basically Endzone - A World Apart but released 6 months later and acquired by Paradox so it's pumped with DLC Given that Endzone is the exact same price, has a more tuned in amount of micro management and has a better soundtrack to backdrop your run - I'd go with Endzone
I had a detailed review on why I don't like this, but Steam ate it so my summary is just buy Endzone instead. This one is very badly thought out, with minimal focus on the fun exploration and city building parts and a heavy focus on the garbage combat. Combine that with bugs, terrible pathfinding, a duel problem of not being allowed to micromanage your people while being forced to micromanage your guards and specialists (the hero units), the almost comical 'X number of citizens must be injured or sick at all times' mechanic, and the complete lack of planning tools for the city building part, and this game fails pretty hard. It's a pity because it was kind of fun, but the fun dries up the more if forces you into combat after combat when you just want to try and build your colony.
♥♥♥♥ game launcher. Still having loading problems after many years. Don't buy.
I want to like it, but it's just boring.
This game, even on 50% difficulty, throws too much at you, without any let-up. The amount of times I have restarted it, only to have some other crisis come up 5 seconds after I put out the first problem, is ridiculous. There needs to be better balance to it. It is an unrelenting grind, and it sucks the joy out of it when you cannot progress normally, but are forced to play it to the game's high-pressure strong-arming. Each new DLC you add makes the complexity even worse, and foists more unreasonable demands on you, earlier and earlier on.
It has been a while since I played this game, but after completing many other games now, looking back at my experience with this strategic colony simulator survival game, I actually liked it... Sure there are some very minor things that didn't make sense or weren't required to be in the game (whether in the base game or in the DLCs), but overall, I loved it. Whilst playing through my campaign, I almost died three times, this game is really punishing and it is fun. I once lost half of my colony to a disease because I did not have enough resources to maintain many hospitals at the time. And many times I ran out of water and my colony came very close to extinction. I loved the strong characters that can be sent out to salvage resources, fight enemies, clear areas, or research and set up camps. Whilst I did love some of them, the game did not create much affection between me and my characters like how a masterful game like Rimworld does with its pawns. It is okay, I still cared for some of my stronger characters, but it felt less like Rimworld and more like Dwarf Fortress, where you only care about strong characters, and if they die, it is just a bummer and you quickly forget their names. The game was fun, it kept throwing more and more challenges at me, and the final battle was fun, I lose three of my most cherished characters, but as I said, I quickly recovered and dealt with the enemies that killed them. In the end, will I ever replay this game? Probably not, I have a lot of games in my inventory and there are many other games that I would consider replaying before this game, but is it good? Was it fun? Did I enjoy it? Yes, definitely. Lastly, the question about prince, was my 30 hours of enjoyment worth the price of this game and all its DLCs? If without discount, then certainly no, but with a discount, I see it as a pretty good deal. (Though thinking about it overall, I probably wouldn't buy the DLCs)
Interesting idea, but falls flat
