Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Aqui está o texto corrigido: Versão corrigida: "I just bought the game, and in just 2 hours I had 3 C.T.D.s... Hard pass. If they can't fix bugs like this after several years since release, they never will. It's sad, the game seems fun.
Premature launch. Many bugs still remain. Villagers just wander around in circles because the path finding AI is broken. Game seems to be abandoned so the fixes are never coming! 2 years since any updates.

It just drags on and on and on. The game plays a lot like Surviving Mars despite being from a different studio under the same publisher. I guess at this time all "Surviving X" games published by Paradox can be safely assumed to play the same. You will spend some time building out your colony. The initial gameplay feels promising and intriguing. You encounter disasters (which are really like temporary conditions with predictable results) and explore the world map as you incrementally work through the main questline. However the game quickly spirals into a grind fest that feels artificially padded with a lot of time being wasted on missing quality of life features. Forgot where all the science deposits on the world map are? Good luck finding them once you've uncovered enough of the map to make it hard to keep your bearings. Forgot where the metal scrap deposits are on your colony map? Same deal: you better set some time aside for scrolling. Meanwhile your specialists take ages to go from one place to another, even when you eventually pick up a bunch of cars. There's little indication of what buildings are damaged so you better got your maintenance tents covering most places or you'll have to wait for them to turn critical and then hope you have the right parts on stock to repair them before they burn down. And that doesn't even get into the tech tree and main quest line: eventually the main quest just stops, waiting for you to literally sit around waiting until arbitrary resource thresholds are met. Then resource production is frozen until you resolve the next quest in the line, rinse and repeat. Eventually you'll just keep recycling your specialists to turn them into settlers and engineers so don't bother getting attached to them. Even the stats will eventually just fade into each other to the point you might as well keep a skeleton crew of fighters to raid hostiles and one of each in case a quest gives you a bonus. The gameplay is both excrutiatingly slow but also broad. You get a gazillion things to keep track of with very few affordances but nothing really feels important and most of it just feels random. There's no way to protect against meteor strikes, rodents and roaches will just randomly spawn and attack you, special event outcomes will be seemingly arbitrary and you never have enough free carriers to fill all job slots no matter how large you let your population balloon. It doesn't really feel post-apocalyptic, it more feels like being stuck in a purgatory where all decisions ultimately feel meaningless as you race through the day at triple speed waiting to do the same things again and again.
I want to like it, but I actually dislike the game, now I'm almost done with it, I still hate it. ... and worse part is that I generally like games like this (sims/builders/management games etc). It is a mid tier game overall; the music, sfx, gfx are all mid - a bit forgettable and slightly plastic. The damn sound effect for each notification is driving me nuts as I'm going through disasters and endure to ensure my long term plans work, but pops die like flies or get sick and the damn sound is spamming like hell and is just annoying - I KNOW MY SIMS ARE SUFFERING I AM AWARE OF IT THANK YOU. The micromanagement of the colony is also tedious, you can't go off to make some tea or whatever without rats or bugs deciding that now is a good time to just mess with you, hence I classify the game as a disaster simulator as you have to prepare for disasters and sit there with the mouse ready to handle every situation on the go while at 3x speed as the game is so f*cking slow with it's bottlenecks in progression. As I mentioned, this is a disaster survival colony management sim game, not a simple city sim. Emphasis on disaster and survival. The higher the difficulty the more frequent ♥♥♥♥ happens and it will stress you out, so have that in mind because right after the rats and beetles the queen bugs and meteorites will come and have a go at you. Boring gameplay loop, I'm not excited playing it, it takes forever as it has bottlenecks in progression that requires hours to push through, and world movement is semi-turnbased. RNG with colony map layout is somewhat important & always go for crops & outposts in early research. Summary I give it a "meh, nah, I'll pass, I don't like it." There are better games than this just look for them in steam or google similar games or such. Don't waste money on this just because it might fancy that little tickle you feel in your pickle, it ain't that scratch you need, it's the one you don't like because it annoys you. ... unless you're a guy that likes being in the fire and handle the fire, while the fire is burning you, your dog, your favorite chair and that old musky sweater your grandma gave you twenty plus years ago and still want to save it all with your bare hands, then just maybe, this game might work for you. Sill, buy it on a dumpster sale. A burning one.
Fazit: Holt euch lieber "Endzone: A world apart". Das ist in allen Belangen besser. I bought the game with all DLC on sale. So far I find the game rather boring. The annoying research system, in which you first have to find research points on the map, slows down colony building extremely. In addition, with the standard settings, too few new colonists are added too slowly. I find the colony building itself rather confusing due to the graphics. Due to the fact that resource piles are randomly distributed on the colony map, reasonable advance planning is not possible. The specialists that you send across the world map sometimes take ages to get anywhere, another brake on the flow of the game. And the fact that you can't even equip the specialists with better weapons etc. is just embarrassing. Conclusion: Better get “Endzone: A world apart”. This is better in all respects.
♥♥♥♥♥♥ BORING
Ngl, I thought this game would be much better, but sadly, it's just mid. Imo, it feels like a weaker version of Frostpunk, lacking the depth and innovation that made that game stand out. And of course, as it's a Paradox game, so 99% of the content is locked behind the mighty dlc wall, which makes the base game feel very limited.
I bought this game and its not very enjoyable. The tutorials were rough and I would have to figure a lot on my own. Just meh, not sure why it has so much DLC, I hope it made it better. If you like a slow burn management kind of game then go ahead and enjoy this.
Overall solid citybuilder. Haven't played since early access and I have to say the changes they've made + the DLC content have made this a well rounded game. Tons of quests and events that happen throughout the game, and even the end game has a ton of content now with mega structures you can construct. Highly recommend giving it a shot if you enjoy this genre!
