Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I was one of the beta testers for the XBox version and loved it, and wanted to see what it was like to play on PC. Plenty of hiccups still around, that's for sure. Placing things can be very weird, like it just places itself without clicking. Very annoying. But!!!! I still love the game, especially with the mods. Change things up a bit with console vs PC, and I enjoy both very much.
Good solid colony Survival game. Nice touch is that it's pretty much standard survival style while your in your base, and a different style when your Specialists venture out into the wider world.

Enjoying the game, though it does take some time to figure out the mechanics and how to best deal with all the issues/survival scenarios. I highly recommend it to anyone that enjoyed Surviving Mars!
Ok, I have play enough to do this review properly. My review will be conduct base on the base game with New Alliance DLC due to the base game is broken for me. First of all, this game "DICTATE" on what you should be doing by using Entertainment debt. In this game entertainment box is a resource that you can only gather in the world map. With entertainment constantly on negative you will face colonists being unhappy and leaving your colony in every 72 hours. The survivors frontier outposts can help you negated that effect as long as they did not take over by bandits. Sometime you may find entertainment box free to "loot" on world map but they came small quantity not enough for the long run. This is too repetitive. The catastrophes in this game is outright unfair and outrageous. Meteor Shower = they keep only hit your buildings, they won't hit the ground or whatever. Massively unfair. Nuclear Fallout = half of your population could be gone instantly and medical tents are without any sort of upgrade to expand the space to hold infected is very problematic. After the catastrophe the game may let you experienced a three ways frontal assault. Bandits may attack your gate, and behind you got charge by gigantic bugs and sand worms. So if you are unable to solve one problem; very soon those problems will keep pile up together and you have no way to play it. This game is crazy. No wonder the developers have abandon this game. The tech tree require some massive rearrangement, otherwise it is too hard to play.
Buggy, an inadequate interface, almost no strategy or decision making required, a poorly thought out and implemented economy, and most of all boring. The end game was basically two hours of watching numbers increase in small increments.
Bug ridden abandonware. Do not waste your life playing this one.
I feel like the Devs walked away after the release. This game has potential but too many clunky aspects that make game play painful. No minimap, always screen scrolling to the other side of the map looking for stuff with alarms going off. Too many useless icons cluttering the screen for things you don't need. No option to invert mouse functions.
It bothers me the developers didn't play this game to catch the small issues and fix them. It is fun little builder but certain things they should have/need to fix. such as trauma centers and people having nervous breakdowns. I had 15 people and 11 of them had the nervous breakout icon on them. I had 4 trauma centers but nope.. trauma centers take too long to heal so the people go crazy in town and I have to kill them. Then more survivors join the town, see the crazy people I had to kill, and they go crazy too. It is like a disease that there is no cure for but keeps spreading. Also too much pollution in the build area. I need resources to grow but can't get them because pollution is clumped together which means more aggro insects. Also, Outhouses don't cause pollution. It is just common sense things involving survival the developers did not even think about. Crops cause pollution? Ugh not if done naturally and correctly.
