straight forward resource management and city painter game. you only need the residential zoning and state workers to manage your farms, donkeys and prod buildings. It's paced well, you can't paint everything at the beginning and wait you must think a bit about layout and distances. It's quick to respond to expansion plans, easy to destroy/redesign parts of your city completely and it's fun to lay back and watch your anthill working towards the Sumerian dream. There is just the right amount of room for optimization without losing the simplicity of being a straight forward no nonsense game. Crashed at pops higher than 4k, be mindful of saving the game. Menu visuals are undercooked.
This city builder is the most basic shell of a city builder. It's not the worst, far from it but it is very bare bone. The economy is extremely simple, the tech tree is full of fluff that do not provide anything except for a stat upgrade (max number of state workers) It's pleasant, and I would consider it in sale with a positive review if there was not a cosmetic DLC for a game that doesn't fell complete. The game is also extremely slow, x3 speed is the normal speed for me.
👍👍👍👍
All the other reviews say it great, nothing much more to add. The game is simple, unique, satisfying, and it doesn't punish you. This game is a salve to more complicated city-builders.
very good for history buffs
Quite fun, i think the Paths need fixing, made more like cities skylines but overall quite fun
It is an awesome and entertaining game.
Very good game, accurately shows one of my favorite time periods and is a competent city builder. Good game,
je to takova hricka na spousty hodin jen optimalizace by mohla bejt lepsi kdyz je to takova chujovina
+Decent graphics ....for year 2003. Not 2023! + Sumerian Buildings like temples and ziggurates looks better than I imagined. + The Assyrian Statues looks great. - The Sumerians are a bit lacking in detail. - The campaign is playable until Umma Level. Then, when you start to get bogged down with stuffy micromanagement and get bored. - Repetitive music -Tech Tree is so SLOW! - Horrible and confusing menu - Incomplete guide 3/10 for an low-budget video game about Sumerians with 3D Graphics. Better play Pharaoh: A New Era. Is much better!
