About
From Rocksteady Studios, the creators of the Batman: Arkham series, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a genre-defying third-person action shooter where the ultimate band of misfits must do the impossible to save the world: Kill the Justice League.
Join the newly “recruited” members of Amanda Waller’s infamous Task Force X (aka the Suicide Squad), Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark, as they set out on an impossible mission to Kill the Justice League. Drop into an expansive and dynamic open-world Metropolis ravaged by Brainiac’s invasion and terrorized by the heroes who once protected it.
Each Squad member brings their own traversal mechanics to help them navigate a sprawling and battle-torn Metropolis, combining free-roaming exploration and combat verticality for an unforgettable experience. Players are free to experiment with a variety of different play styles to unleash maximum damage on their enemies. Whether in single player or online with up to three of your friends, players can take on this suicide mission their own way.
Post-launch, players can expect a continuously evolving Metropolis with free new playable villains, environments, weapons, in-game events, and more, all included with purchase of the base game.

Based on the Steam achievements, only a third of the players who played this game actually made it far enough to beat the first boss. I think that should tell you a lot about Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. I remember being really hyped for this game, only to not have a decent enough PC or a next-gen console at the time that could run it. Friends were telling me that the game sucked back when it came out, but I always like to play things for myself and make my own opinion. And yeah, this game sucks lol. This game should have and could have been so much better, but Rocksteady dropped the ball and what we're left with is a forgettable, repetitive experience. I've only played as much as I have in the attempt to get all the Steam achievements in this game, and I beat the main story to justify the $4 I spent on this game when they were selling it dirt cheap due to the discontinuation of support and updates (in less than a year, lmao). Even then, the time invested was not worth it and I genuinely think SSKTJL is one of the weakest gaming experiences I've ever had, which is saying a lot when I've played the god-awful PS1 Hellboy game and many terrible movie tie-in games from the 2000s. I wish I spent the time playing something else or doing anything else. But alas, I put time into this, and because I care about getting the Steam achievements, still am continuing, but this game just ain't it. Nobody talks about it anymore, and it's for good reason. The narrative or the writing actually wasn't what bothered me. It's not the greatest story ever and I have my issues with it, such as the fact that the premise is carried entirely by plot armor for our main characters and some of the humor gets a little bit old and annoying; however, the writing is probably the best element of SSKTJL. It's an entertaining story that still packs emotional moments (don't get me started on that Kevin Conroy tribute, every man cried listening to it) and great character moments between the four squad members. Every actor gives a great performance and makes their character feel authentic, and the cutscenes are probably my favorite part of the game because I was more intrigued in the story and premise than anything else. I don't like how Poison Ivy was shoehorned back into the story or how they rewrote Deadshot, claiming the one we saw in the Arkham games was a different person. Okay, that could've worked, but considering the game's premise is that there is a multiverse, I think it could have been cool if either of these characters were just alternate dimension versions, pushing that multiverse factor further and making that idea more ever-present. Oh well, a lack of creativity puts some limits on the the writing and the story, but it hurts the gameplay more. You can play as either of the four members of Task Force X: Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark, all of which have unique movesets and abilities that encourage different styles of play. Harley Quinn is a mobile, agile brawler who likes to use light gun, her mallet, grenades, and a grapple gun to make it rain from a rope swing. Deadshot is not as mobile or speedy, but can fly with a jetpack and focuses on taking characters out at longer ranges and can really play into that sharpshooter element, taking out weak points or doing big damage with headshots/critical hits. Captain Boomerang has a very fun ability to use the Speedforce to manipulate his movement in the environment, allowing him to zip in and out; he is able to use a shotgun and a sniper, so he can really be played at either distance. King Shark is the tanky, melee powerhouse that likes to get in close and make it rain bullets and blood. All of these characters have specific styles they're built for, but the skill tree allows you to put points into specific aspects, allowing you to refine where they should really shine. This is a neat idea, but the skill tree is pretty limited and you don't always get the ability to choose what skill you want -- you're forced to progress and upgrade in a linear path, and some points in that path only have one available upgrade, whereas others may have up to three. Each character is also limited in which guns they can utilize, so you can't try to use a sniper rifle on Harley Quinn, for instance, removing some of that ability to experiment and try out different weapons to see what kind of chaos you can cause. The gameplay is terrible. On paper and for the first few minutes, it works well enough and it's fun, but my god is this one of the most repetitive gameplay loops of all time. It essentially consists of killing enemies in quick succession to build a combo, unleashing your special attacks that you unlock as you level up, and that's most of the gameplay during missions and the open-world. The missions all consist of the same types of objectives, usually protecting one point from enemies for a duration until the mission is complete, or retrieving something in the area and bringing it back to a base point. Or, if they're bold, you'll have to escort something and clear enemies along the path. There is such little variation in how you progress through the story and all of these mission types are nothing innovative or exciting. They're actually more of a chore and don't feel very entertaining to play through. As it chose to be a part of the Arkham series of games, SSKTJL should've tried innovating and doing new things in its missions, providing deeper and more complex gameplay rather than relying on mindless shooting at things and picking bright objects up around you for its gameplay loop. The Arkham games had actual environmental puzzles that you had to use to progress and they had you more engaged with its world of Gotham than SSKTJL's Metropolis. I liked the Arkham missions and those games because the missions would have puzzles for you to solve and scanning your environment to figure out what to do next. Plus, it helped put you in the character of Batman as the World's Greatest Detective -- you really assumed the role, but SSKTJL's shallow gameplay loop makes it feel that this could be any generic looter shooter if you took the DC IP out of the picture. I don't really feel like I'm exploring Metropolis or feel that I'm really in the role of the characters because the gameplay isn't engaging me as much with the character or the world, which is tragic considering the previous installments in the Arkham franchise. The live service model and monetization of this game is also trash, too. Aside from the fact that SSKTJL has probably the worst overall costume designs in a video game ever, you also have to pay additional money to get currency to purchase skins. You can get some free (?) in the battle passes, but these passes take an extremely long time to level and I don't even think you can get enough for the skins on the free track (I'm not even sure if you're able to get the currency on the free version of the battle pass). On the note of battle passes, why this game ever implemented a battle pass is beyond me, but I hope Dr. Evil pressed the buttons on his desk marked with the names of the employees who decided this was a good idea for this game. This isn't some multiplayer game with matches and all of that, but it's a story focused game, and it's clear the pass only exists to encourage players to waste even more time on the game just to unlock a new cosmetic or item. This isn't to mention that the price of the skins you're going to want to buy anyway is $10. The only ones worth buying are the New 52 or Classic skin versions, but to even get all the customization options for those, it's even more money... and remember this was a $70 game at launch. And the rewards on the passes themselves are also just crap. They all have new skins and colors for those skins, but it's a shame that a majority of the designs for the characters are completely terrible and repulsive to look at.

Kill the Justice League? Kill? Killing? Hmm. This is reminding me of something. Oh yes. Undertale. Undertale genocide run. But you knew I'd say that didn't you?
No es un buen juego desde el inicio todo mal, solo para fanaticos de dc
Esse jogo foi muito injustiçado, porque é bom demais
good story and good combat gameplay
四个小时卡退两次,时不时音画不同步
buen juego, diviertidito pero esta mal optimizado :=)(
It has a few glitches here and there, nothing game breaking; the most you'll have to do is restart the lobby or game. But the Graphics are amazing and the story is fascinating. The comedic relief is top notch, this is def one of my top favorite games!
