good game drive a subway on subway routes should be some more fetures thro like do the route but in reverse have a steam workshop were users could create there own routes and share it
Simple Mind game -- I like it -- No need to research or study -- or super fast computer -- walk through: gas - break - open door - close door - repeat remember speed and upgrade the train Get a break from TSW and relax. It's only $0.99 on sale - just get it
Its a fun casual game. Its on the same level as smartphone games, where you do simple stuff, upgrade stuff and just having fun. It could be more polished and developed more deeply, but for a casual fun its worth it.
This game is very straight forward. You drive the metro down several lines in the city as efficiently as possible (preferably before you run out of stamina) The controls are incredibly simple and it takes 2 minutes to learn how to play the game properly. You can go forward, you can stop/ go back and you can open and close the doors. Try not to blow stop signals at stations and don't bust the occasional speed limit or it's game over. Run out of stamina before the end of the trip and you can't go to the last station. You get more or less money depending on how many passengers get on at each stop. You control how long the doors stay open. When you have low stamina (before numerous upgrades, which cost in game money) it's a race against the clock to get to the last station before you run out of stamina. As the game description says you can also upgrade the train's speed, acceleration and braking which will help you complete routes more efficiently. Each route is between 6 and 10 stations long and last around (of course, depending on how well you run your train) 3-7 minutes. You start off with line 1 and you spend in game money to buy more lines as you go. Each new station you stop at successfully (don't blow through the stop ) you get a bonus 3000 coins. Take this into account when buying new lines. You can't upgrade your stamina or train until you stop at 10 different stations. There is a useful map of "Eco City" (very creative name I know) which helps you identify which lines you think you can complete with your train (use your brain and determine how much stamina you have and how far you get on shorter lines) As simple as this game is I can't say it is always easy. It is an odd kind of frustrating when you are rushing your train and trying to strategies and save every second to complete a line (especially a new one) before you run out of Stamina and then fail because some passengers were a bit slow getting off your train. One thing I will caution people about is that I think many people may find the game very repetitive. I personally don't mind, I play games like Airplane Mode (well I do really love planes) and enjoy them, but I can definitely see how running trains through a tunnel over and over again (especially down the same line to make easy money for upgrades) can get old. The scenery above ground or below ground or underwater doesn't change much (if you can say at all). You are in a metro, going down tracks. The most exciting that is going to happen is arriving at a new station. You also have to stay alert because the speed limit on certain lines change regularly which means if you aren't careful it's back to the depot and you start from the first station. It's repetitive but you have to stay alert you can't just put the train on autopilot while you... do whatever else you do. They could have added random events to spice things up, but that's not part of the game as far as I can tell. But the sound design is amazing, the graphics are simple but clean, the game is simple and the learning curve for the controls are non existent and overall it's a good game. In my opinion, 8/10 when you consider everything and the price. The game is worth it. Remember, this game costs $4.99 full price and is about you driving a subway train. Don't expect a bunch of flashy explosions and adrenaline pumping through you as you play. If you want a low stakes game that at worst might make you a little "mad" for a second because you blew a signal or were 2 seconds away from being able to complete a line because someone was slow getting off your train this is the game for you.
Fun, simple game with a light progression system with several routes to try and get through. For $1 there's a pretty good challenge to be found here provided you like the idea of simple pick-up and drop-off as fast as you can. In terms of controls, there's not much more than accelerate, brake, and control the doors. At the same time, you'll be fighting a stamina system that slowly drains before you've ever started to move the train and signalling issues which may enforce speed limits or cause you to stop. For the most part, you won't be able to make it to the end of even the first route and you'll need to move onto other routes before you do in order to unlock the upgrade system (the barrier of which is reach 10 new stations across as many routes as you like). By the time you do, you should have plenty of cash to boost your stamina, acceleration, brakes, and top speed. Even with your initial unlocks, you'll still probably struggle to complete the first route so inevitably the goal is to make enough money (based on how many passengers you pick up, so even your last station is worth money) to get even more upgrades so that you can complete the run by visiting every station on a route. The graphics are functional and very simple. I think this is a port of a mobile game, but it doesn't have much relevance here as you're only limited to three buttons anyway. Curves and switches are assumed to be abstracted so it's really just a single shot of your train and the terrain blowing on by. As a bonus, you can paint your train for each route by messing with some RGB values, but the novelty in that wears off real fast. At each station, you'll have to open your doors and watch as people file out before people start to file in. In typical passenger fashion, most of them will line up at the back car meaning you can make a choice of closing the doors early and taking off for a smaller payday or letting them all on at the cost of losing stamina. You can also trigger the doors to hurry the stragglers up, but there isn't much penalty to leaving people behind other than an angry face emote and a hit to your delivery purse. If you're looking for something simple with a straightforward challenge of "get to the end", you could do a lot worse with your dollar (on sale). Despite its simplicty, the game is engaging for a time though there are no achievements to push you forward if you're one of those types of people. It's a game you can easily pick up and play for a little bit in between responsibilities or even to just wind down your evening and scratch an itch before going to bed without having to worry about anything super intense. While the more advanced routes will require you to pay attention and adjust your speed and the game is entirely a race against the stamina clock, it's still pretty chill. It's obviously more suited to playing on your commute or while taking a dump, but if you've got a comfy chair and a tall cup of something warm, it's a cozy way to spend some time and let your brain unwind.
simple and super addictive !! upgrade your speed, brakes and stamina (time) to finish the longer lines to get coins to keep upgrading. i love it. super fun to watch some late passenger that couldn't get aboard :)
Das ist toll. Ich mag U-bahns.
Simple and fun.
