Came because the game upset Transphobes (omg how dare they have a trans flag on the train covered in pride flags, after, like 100 trains). Stayed because it's a nice fun chill game
Delightful little game. Love the train with the Pride flags!
I can only give positive or negative so we'll keep this in the positive zone but there are def some tweaks that need to be made. On the good notes, its a lovely super chill game, fairly easy resource management (unless this is your first resource management game). I like being able to pause when I need to and super speed up when things are in a lull. Like most games of this sort, your life is made a lot easier if you bulk up on resources before you upgrade rather than upgrade as soon as you meet the prereqs. Some things I would love to see the devs work on: 1. More people. I think actually a lot of the issues I had with the demo and full game playthrough amounted to too many activities, not enough people. And at a certain point in the game it seemed like new arrivals rarely showed up. 2. Chill on the electricity. Once I upgraded the railroads I basically had to prioritize electricity creation (and all the resources required to make it) for the rest of the game. The requirements, pace of electricity generation and/or upgrading electricity storage should be properly balanced and need to be toned down a couple notches. 3. Useless food? Once you get to making fries and meals etc, they don't actually get stored. I see one pop up here or there for a second and then it's gone. Is the population eating it? Were they eating resources before I started making food? I can't find any reason to bother making those facilities, and if it isn't a glitch and there is actually a use for them, the usage isn't apparent. 4. Resources/farms not used. I'm talking about late game when I have over 100 peeps. Again I'm assuming there just needs to be a rebalance between population and resources. 5. No jewels. I built the structures to make them, but never saw a single one. According to some of the comments there's some space at the top of the map where you are supposed to build them? If so, it's a requirement that isn't a thing anywhere else in the game, and is absolutely not obvious.
Cute and simple town management game with some lovely pixel art. Once in a while a scary colourful train passes by... but don't worry, it doesn't bite and only gives you nice things.
It's a cute little game mostly about making sure that you can produce the materials you need in the quantity you need by putting down buildings for your slowly growing population to go, and keep the local ruler happy with you in the process. It's a quite chill and slow game, and thanks to the quite solid - if a bit clunky to use - automated systems built into the game, it's also well suited for having running in one window to check in on every so often while doing something else.
A nice, short game. Good priced for the time it takes to finish.

I didn't spend as much time as I intended to with Iron Village, and I want to spend more with it. Overall a fairly chill city-builder, with cute art, and a smooth learning curve. You can get started quickly, and it's difficult to get truly lost, with very joy-positive refunds for when you want to change things up. If the menus get too complex, you can easily slow down and go at your own pace. There are timers, but trades will come back around soon enough -- there's always at least one train planning to arrive. I did have one villager that got "stuck" in between two buildings and then ALSO got chosen as the worker to demolish the building that was "in the way" and I never satisfactorily resolved that. So, there might be some minor bugs. I didn't finish the primary quest line, yet but I hope to visit Iron Village more.
I like trains
Сложно игру назвать расслабляющей. Поселенцы в хаотичном порядке носятся, делают что попало, приоритеты назначить вообще никак нельзя. По мере роста вообще непонятно что происходит.
