An amazing roguelike starship game centered around automativally firing emplaced weapons, upgrades, and activated abilities. I've had the pleasure to do some closed alpha testing for this game, and the dev is nothing short of a code wizard with a genuine passion for making the game better and more fun. Give this game a shot! The demo is super fun, but trust me when I say the full game (even at launch) has a ton of new content. I can't wait to see the next steps!
Played a fair amount in beta and purchased day one! Fun game to burn some hours in blasting ships and making some fun builds! Love the new bosses that have been added + the new boss weapon drops. Still more to find from what I have seen in the games trailers! You really can do some interesting builds to the point you can really start doing silly things. The discord is quite active and there is a solid roadmap for the next year, definitely worth the purchase.

I guess I'll start with a TLDR: this is what Vampire Survivors would look like in the Star Trek universe. Instead of trying to dodge hordes of enemies as you spam spells and attacks, you maneuver a bulky but mighty warship around the galaxy. The ship is effectively a very, very customizable weapons platfrom, and your goal is to become more lethal at such a rate, that you're largely unbothered by swarms of enemies. This game has a tremendous amount of diversity, with many different kinds of weapons and an Armory that allows you to unlock more with the Credits you earn from your run. Different cooldown abilities and captains can be equipped to your ship. The enemy types are also diverse, and lots of interesting things can be found as you travel the map. I haven't played enough to get a grasp of what they all are, but there are item caches, shops, beacons to defend, and bigger enemy ships. Combat feels amazing and very strategic since you can't just outmaneuver your foes, but you can move in such ways that minimize the damage (and give them the full force of your weaponry.) Highly recommend for anyone who likes Survivors-likes or Sci-fi Stuff (tm).
So I thought this was a simple survivors clone - I was wrong. I get to really play out the feel of a huge lumbering battleship that moves to broadside its enemies. (In fact devs - why dont you add more ships with single side weapons? ) - Anyways - buy it - its good. Here's hoping they add more weapons, biomes and ships.
The gameplay is really fun and addictive, and I appreciate how responsive the dev is! Can’t believe it’s all one person. I’m looking forward to seeing where things go with this during the early access roadmap as well.
What a joy it is to sail upon the sea of stars (and obliterate everything that moves with high powered capital ship weaponry.)
Ive put in hours and hours into the demo and it already was an awesome game, I cant wait for full release but regardless, this is a banger of a game
I am a huge fan of space games- mostly space sims but I enjoy most games with low friction and rogues are an excellent genre for that. Recently I had been looking for a fair successor to one of my favorites of all time: Fractured Space (RIP) and this looked somewhat the part. After reading a bit more, I realized this was not in fact a FS similar game, but rather something that scratches a somewhat Pathogenic / Space Scavengers / Nova Drift itch, which is great company to be in. So what does this game try to do? Gameplay loop is an autoshooter where you pilot a ship and can distinctly control the build. It's somewhere between a twin stick style game and something like snake.io It's very low friction - you get right into battle and immediately can enjoy the game. Mechanics are fairly simple, but with plenty of scaling. A lot of weapons are somewhat linearly scaling however there's enough diversity that the lack of asymmetry isn't really bothersome. You can build pretty differently depending on your preferences, with power-ups which buff ram damage, reduce ram damage taken, you can add hangars on your ship which becomes something of a pet-adjacent build. It seems to hit a good balance between relaxing gameplay to hop in after work and enough build identity that can be placed that it's not repetitive. I would definitely recommend, if any of this appeals to you.
loved the demo, and I'm enjoying the game. A very nice little indy roguelike. It gives the satisfaction of leveling up an MMO character (lots of damage numbers, weapon upgrades, etc.) but all in the space of 15 minutes. I am hopeful as they keep working on it that it continues to get better
