Игра более чем годная, стратегия хорошая.

Если бы чутка подпилили под современные реалии как например во второй части, то цены бы не было...

Game crashes after 7 hours of play. Cannot replay tutorial or the first battle. Crashes instantly when trying to play any other mode or campaign/mission. Also constantly restarts in Russian and have to change to English. Have uninstalled and reinstalled to no joy, cannot recommend. Luckily only paid $2.5 on special.

This is definitely a case of you get what you pay for. When Norway launches an amphibious assault on mainland Germany and divisions can retreat into enemy territory without concern for supplies, you've lost me.

A crusty turn-based tactical war game with very limited presentation. It’s obviously trying to ape a board game with the static unit icons and bold map lines, but it feels cheap rather than stylistic. While the speed of the game is conducive to strategic thinking, where you can change moves and coordinate your units, it should have at least allowed you to move the faster units multiple squares in one round of orders. Then you have to scan the board to see if you missed any units, and the endless confirmations slow the game to a crawl, sapping out a lot of the fun. I also dislike how the units’ health is so difficult to read. For a strategy game that’s so basic, it’s not terrible; the WW2 game has a handful of campaigns with decently challenging missions. It has an experience system and a tech tree, even though I didn’t play long enough to figure out how they worked. I can’t say it’s a good game, but I think some dedicated players could have enough patience for it, even though it’s a bit too unengaging for me and there are definitely better war sims. ...but that’s only the WWII game. There are two other games in the pack. One of them isn’t exactly a game, it’s a “sandbox” version of the previous game where you play as one country on a huge map of Europe and North Africa. It just dropped me into a scenario where I guess I’m supposed to conquer Switzerland and Sweden? Seems random. I don’t understand why this isn’t just part of the WWII game. At least the medieval game is its own thing. I don’t know why it doesn’t appear to have any relevant achievements, but I guess I’ll find out… wait, no, the cursor boundary is screwed up, it’s zoomed in even though the game’s fullscreen, if I could just put the game in windowed mode… wait, now it’s zoomed into a corner of the game’s screen. It might be something to do with my monitor’s resolution. If I change that… nope, still the same issue. Compatibility issue? Who knows? Okay, the medieval game does not seem to want to be played. If you really want this game, which I really don’t recommend, you might only be getting the WWII games. Good luck.
