Nice little incremental game made from a solo dev which is very responsive and active. Got quick help via discord from him about an achievement. 100% completion is quite easy. Recommended!
yeah idk i wanna like it but its legit like different devs took over design randomly and none of them finished anything.. the upgrade system starts with some nice symbols above the work place to click, nice and simple. but after you literally unlock 2 other stages they kind get bored of that mechanic and decide the rest of the buildings from now on dont need that easy icon to click/know you are ready to upgrade, now you gotta go find the item in a list through another menu to upgrade them just the same.. next they got really bored and made the end game buildings "just do multiple things" and this works very poorly with the "add more workers to speed things up" model as they dont effect anything other than the first option in a building producing say 5 things (mill or cooking place) well as far as i can tell anyway.. the items have no useable tool tips that i can see other than telling you their name (ok i got "bottle" wtf do i need to do with that lol), theres a "battle system" that consists of you fighting guys for literally 1 type of resource regardless who you fight and a seemingly random battle map where 3 fights are fight-able even tho theres like 20 spots on the map (very confusing) and finally is the trade in this game, for some reason theres two different spots to sell the same things both of which reset every single time you reload the game so yo uhave to set the trades every time and it bugs out, very often i have trained 10 guys to sell at 130 each for example and some how i end up with a. the same amount of money back b. less money or c. a random number between that deff isnt the correct amount. so yeah over all its a cool concept but it needs alot of cleaning up and work to make it more uniform and less makeshift and like random ppl worked on it at different times and i highly doubt thats gunna happen sadly
This game is a bit clunky and rough around the edges. The UI is a damn mess and there are a lot of weird choices. I play a lot of trashy idle games so I don't really mind and I was willing to forgive this until I reached the late game. There, it all turned to sh*t. You're gated by gold and silver bars to produce the last tiers of units and there is no way to make their progression faster (everything else in the game can be boosted). Worse, you need to produce two type of items with these gold bars so you can't automate both at once because one requires less gold bars than the other, so you'll end up only producing the former. This is a major design flaw that absolutely ruins the pace of the game at this point. This could have been a nice and quick, chilling idle game but this massive issue just around doubles the waiting time for absolutely no valid reason and makes finishing it a chore instead of an enjoyable experience. I can't recommend this game unless you're really craving for an idle game revolving around town management.
First impressions doesn't deliver for me. Countless noticeable issues and the gameplay didn't hook me in. The game needs quite a lot of QoL.

Majority of the grammar is off and lacks punctuation.
Cannot turn off tips from the crow.
Shift does not increase the camera speed.
Cannot lower FPS. I don't need 120FPS for any idler. This is a big issue because I'd want the game to use less resources, not more.
All Scroll Bars scroll sensitivity is set very low. The Content of all scroll bars do not have a content size fitter; what that means is, there's a lot of empty space and you can scroll down the entire value of the scroll bar.
Edit: Okay the previously mentioned bugs are fixed. But the broken gameplay is only solved by what seems a new bug: Send in 2 for 200g workers to the barrack, and up with only 1 recruit resulting in 130g... Gameplay: Bad and unbalanced resulting in this broken gameplayloop: As soon as you unlock the barracks and the tradehouse, you can simply buy some citizens, train them to recruits and then sell them again. rinse and repeat Untill you have >50 of them, kill kraken to get bones. sell bones to get prestige currency. repeat untill you are bored and unlock all prestige without ever bothering with any of the other buildings and bosses. Also, the prestige bonuses are meh and don't accelerate your next playtrough much (except when you get duplicate privates, highly improving the above mentioned strategy). 2x wood may seem cool but considering you can only put a limited amount of workers on making planks out of them, it really does not help at all. I mean, the good thing that had me going for a few hours
Incremental Town RPG is a fun and relaxing incremental idle game, perfect for casual background gaming. It was created by an indie developer, and it's always great to support small developers making creative and enjoyable games. This one shines with its charming pixel graphics, simplicity, and satisfying progression system. The grind feels well-balanced for this type of game, and I managed to achieve 100% of all achievements in about 25.5 hours of active gaming and idling. If you’re a fan of incremental games with a laid-back vibe, I highly recommend trying this one!
There's some jankiness to the game in the controls, the ux/ui and just how it feels in general, but I am enjoying it as an idle game that you can come back to anytime you want with no repercussions. I haven't prestiged yet but I assume that's going to make the game WAY longer than I would've thought. Finished? No Steam Achievements? A lot of grinding, will take a LONG while. Steam Deck? N/A for idle game. Rating? 6/10 My curator page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45865425-CozyAriGames/ Full videos on Youtube.
chill lil game. Despite being a incremental game there is a bunch of bottle necking issues u have to deal with thanks to how some of the resources scales or should I i say the lack of scaling for some of the resources. Manage to finish the achievements in about 7 ish hours. So the time investment is not too bad.
Very rough, unbalanced, ugly, awkwardly designed game. Should be free on itch not paid on Steam. Dev should absolutely be still working on this game to improve it if they want to charge money for it.
