After 80+ hours of playing Tom Hanks simulator, I am still totally addicted to this digital archipelago. [b]The Good:[/b] * Perfect Castaway Vibe: Nails the slow, meditative solo survival loop.Rewarding * Progression: Starting with sticks and slowly building an epic island base and custom raft never gets old.Beautiful * Atmosphere: Gorgeous oceans, great weather, and constant tension. [b]The Bad:[/b] * The Solo Grind: You do 100% of the manual labor, which gets repetitive. * Janky Physics: The inventory UI is pretty basic and your raft will occasionally launch into outer space. Despite the bugs and clunky controls, the gameplay loop completely hooks you. 80 hours later, I’m still getting bullied by tiger sharks and loving every minute. 10/10, would get poisoned by a sea urchin again.

i remember when this game was first coming out and was on top of the world like what happened i still play it on 0.01.00 because its the nostalgia goat

[h2] Gameplay [/h2] Stranded Deep is a survival game. After our private jet crashes, we are stuck on a small island in the Pacific Ocean. Our main goal is to survive and escape. You need to gather resources like wood and rocks, craft tools, and build a shelter. You also need to find food, fresh water, and visit other islands to collect more resources. You must visit shipwrecks in the ocean to get unique stuff. You can also build your own house like me. [h2] Graphics [/h2] The graphics are just fine. I like underwater more. The islands are very small however, the day and night cycle is looking very good. [h2] Audio [/h2] I muted the music but the effects, especially the sounds of waves and the ocean are very nice. [h2] Story [/h2] You survive a plane crash and try to stay alive on lonely islands. Your ultimate goal is to find an abandoned plane on a carrier ship, repair it with special parts, and escape from the ocean. You have to visit and beat 3 bosses to acquire those parts. [h2] Difficulty [/h2] Stranded Deep has several difficulty options. But for normal difficulty, you must be careful of your thirst. There are sharks roaming under the water, so the ocean is not safe. You can find food easily but beware the animals on the islands as most of them attack you on sight.

imo it was better physics wise when it first came out, they changed it so much it feels more bland than ever

Dogs dinner it the only way to summarise this game... 4 years old, riddled with bugs and it looks like the devs have just given up on it. There's no direction, no real tutorial, you're left to figure it out yourself. Its empty and boring. Don't waste your time!
