Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Stoneshard is a challenging turn-based RPG set in an open world. Experience the unforgiving life of a medieval mercenary: travel across the war-torn kingdom, fulfill contracts, fight, mend your wounds and develop your character without any restrictions.
There’s no hand-holding, and the game will punish you for your mistakes: you’ll have to carefully prepare for each expedition, plan your actions in advance, and weigh your resources against possible risks. Saving can only be done in certain spots, so each wrong move can potentially lead to a swift death and lost progress.

Open World
War always leaves its mark: villages lie in ruins, dungeons are infested with monsters, and old roads are abandoned. Travel through Aldor and learn more about its past.
Caravan
Gather your own caravan to travel the world. Acquire upgrades for it and recruit followers - their knowledge and skills will likely benefit you along the way. Feeling weary? Return to your camp to hear new stories or just rest by the fire.
Economy
The wartime economy is ruthless, but it also presents many opportunities: fulfill contracts, hunt for treasure, trade in a variety of goods, and travel the land to earn your fortune.

Character Development
Experiment with 200+ abilities and 400+ equipment pieces without any class or level restrictions. Create your very own playstyle!
Enemy Variety
Take part in intense battles against numerous factions. Brigands, abominable cults, the undead - all of them require a unique approach.
Tactical Battles
Only the thoughtful ones shall prevail - plan a few turns ahead, adapt to your surroundings, and fully utilize your character’s strengths.

Health System
Master the simple but deep health system: cauterize bleeding wounds, relieve pain with alcohol and drugs, practice bloodletting and heal your maladies with various concoctions.
Psyche
Different in-game situations have a distinct influence on your character’s mental condition. High morale may turn the tide in your favor when fighting even the most hopeless of battles, while low sanity brings panic attacks and paranoia.
Permadeath
Do you like risk? Then try out the Ironman mode, where every decision is irreversible and your character dies once and for all.
New Content
Additional settlements, enemy factions, and even more activities, equipment, and abilities.
Main Story
To solve the mystery of Stoneshards, you’ll have to undertake a long journey full of dangers, hardships, and adventures. What choices will you make in this bleak world?

Reviews
I bought this game when it first released on Steam a long time ago, and I’ve been waiting for it to become something I could really play beyond the opening area and the first few quests. I tried it again today for about two hours, and after the first fight I was so badly wounded that all I could do was bleed to death and die while trying to make it back to the village. No tips or information on what could heal me or where I could go to get said healing. With that said, it feels like the developers have added very little to improve the core gameplay experience and make the game truly playable. Character creation is still basically a placeholder, just like it was at launch. The same is true for many spell types and skills, which still have placeholder elements from day one. There’s also no real controller support. In the end, I feel the developers have failed at the basics of making the game fun and playable. Instead of focusing on improving the foundation, they seem to be slowly drip-feeding additional content into a game that still feels like an unfinished skeleton.

80% of the time its fun but the 20% of the time when its not its literally the most miserable ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game ive ever played. And ive played league for 15+ years so i would know. theres nothing more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying then spending 20 minutes walking somewhere, having to fight 18 bandits along the way so when you do get there youve got 3 broken limbs, severe pain, and 3 different mental illnesses, your inventory space is so limited that if you want to have any hope of bringing something worth money back you cant bring many healing supplies or food, the only items that increase inventory take the place of your cloak so youre sacrificing defense. overall its mostly just a pain in the ass, but if you hate yourself and want to play a game that makes you miserable youll probably like this.
Sixth year waiting for ability to create custom character. In the meantime we got ton of usless little things. Terrible development cycle.
this game has one of the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and rng heavy combat systems i have seen i don't even feel like i can do anything against enemies i just either get rolled with me feeling like there is no counterplay or roll the enemy over like it was nothing it's just not fun also forgot to mention how they waste my time with no saving like really i have to do 10 minutes of walking and progress again cuz an enemy crit me and i died and sleeping bags are kinda expnsive considering how much you spend on gear healing food and traps
Ironically the tutorial is the best part of the game. Manageable enemies, get to taste a little bit of everything, end boss has a pattern of attack and special mechanics. First time I tried it died over and over then I learned how it works and beat the boss before he could even do his special move to restore health. Once you get into the open world though the game crashes and burns in my opinion. Go around do some side quests for the shopkeeps by picking flowers in the wilderness for 10 minutes, pick up a quest and head out to a nearby dungeon, arrive to see 3-4 bandits outside the entrance, they see me and chase me across the map as I do small attacks at distance. Only to die to the last dude who is supposed to be an archer in melee. Inside the dungeon? From my experience when the game first came out, they were about 1-2 blocks wide, maybe 3? So you could relatively keep enemies locked down by stunning 1 then body blocking the other and engaging with him while the rest piled up behind, as was my strategy with melee characters. Now however they made the corridors so wide, it may be the 3 I mentioned before, or it is 4 wide, either way its too much to actually block anything which is detrimental since you walk into a room and you could have 4 guys on you and since you can't kite very well in dungeons, you just die by being ganged up on losing an hour of progress and reloading when you last slept at town. No way to deal with large swarms of enemies, combined with their high damage output early on, and you just die way too much when you can't save at will. Basically the game feels like a dice roll on if you win or not, rather than anything you did to prepare. A shame as I did want to like the game.
