Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Stoneshard is a challenging turn-based RPG set in an open world. Experience the unforgiving life of a medieval mercenary: travel across the war-torn kingdom, fulfill contracts, fight, mend your wounds and develop your character without any restrictions.
There’s no hand-holding, and the game will punish you for your mistakes: you’ll have to carefully prepare for each expedition, plan your actions in advance, and weigh your resources against possible risks. Saving can only be done in certain spots, so each wrong move can potentially lead to a swift death and lost progress.

Open World
War always leaves its mark: villages lie in ruins, dungeons are infested with monsters, and old roads are abandoned. Travel through Aldor and learn more about its past.
Caravan
Gather your own caravan to travel the world. Acquire upgrades for it and recruit followers - their knowledge and skills will likely benefit you along the way. Feeling weary? Return to your camp to hear new stories or just rest by the fire.
Economy
The wartime economy is ruthless, but it also presents many opportunities: fulfill contracts, hunt for treasure, trade in a variety of goods, and travel the land to earn your fortune.

Character Development
Experiment with 200+ abilities and 400+ equipment pieces without any class or level restrictions. Create your very own playstyle!
Enemy Variety
Take part in intense battles against numerous factions. Brigands, abominable cults, the undead - all of them require a unique approach.
Tactical Battles
Only the thoughtful ones shall prevail - plan a few turns ahead, adapt to your surroundings, and fully utilize your character’s strengths.

Health System
Master the simple but deep health system: cauterize bleeding wounds, relieve pain with alcohol and drugs, practice bloodletting and heal your maladies with various concoctions.
Psyche
Different in-game situations have a distinct influence on your character’s mental condition. High morale may turn the tide in your favor when fighting even the most hopeless of battles, while low sanity brings panic attacks and paranoia.
Permadeath
Do you like risk? Then try out the Ironman mode, where every decision is irreversible and your character dies once and for all.
New Content
Additional settlements, enemy factions, and even more activities, equipment, and abilities.
Main Story
To solve the mystery of Stoneshards, you’ll have to undertake a long journey full of dangers, hardships, and adventures. What choices will you make in this bleak world?

One of the worst save mechanics in any game ever. Game is fairly RNG based, which wouldn't be terrible if dying didn't mean loosing an hour or so of progress. Debuffs are also extremely unintuitive in the sense that some don't really explain why you got them and or how to get rid of them. You also absolutely need to look up a guide for a meta build. You could maybe at most allocate 2 skill points incorrectly before your character is useless. And you need to get certain book drops to get the correct skills you need. Game mistakes tedium for difficulty which makes it generally hard to enjoy.
DONT BUY the game calls its self difficult but in reality its just annoying and waste your time bought this game and in a week cant get past mannshire i tried magic as my first playthrough big mistake guess the dev hate mages because EVEY SPELL HAS A CHANCE TO DAMAGE YOU INSTED turns out magic was strong so the devs nerfed it so i make i new character two handed swords expect the game to be more enjoyable now wrong try to look up some tip or builds to help cant games so dead people aren't even making those types of vids any more ( all of them are at lest a year old) so cant get any help there do more looking and it seem the reason is game WAS fun then the devs kept coming out with updates to the game no one asked for that made the game unfun so yay guess i was to late to enjoy this game and even if you think I'm wrong you don't think the game is to hard if you don't think the game is annoying and you enjoy it the update cycle is so slow the die hard fans complain one more thing having crappy save system isn't difficulty its laziness

Developers that do not hold up their end of the bargain. I regret giving these ghouls money.
I have been a follower of this game since July2018 it was on Kickstarter and must say I do like the game but failed promises force me to do this. 1 no character creator, just come on guys you said it back in January of 2020 . . . . . over 6 years and you have not added it. 2. failed backers with no summoner class, I am a huge FF player and that had me going. Rock from geomancy dont count. 3 a lot of the missions are the same thing, change it up, instead of doors use a drawbridge that we have to interact with or even a floor switch we need to kill enemies on to get a rare stash. The game got boring guys and a new weapon helps but its not a fix, we want our own character we want an interesting dungeon, cave, fort, camps that dont look the same
Believe me, I really want to like this game. It has everything I've ever wanted in a tactical combat and mercenary simulation. But this game clearly isn't for someone with a day job who just wants to spend a few hours relaxing at night. With the amount of RNG this game throws at you, it can easily rob you of hours of progress and leave you with nothing but a bitter ending, without doing anything to compensate for it. I could see myself back in high school or college sinking hundreds of hours into this, but not anymore. This game doesn't RESPECT my time, and judging by the other negative reviews, the developers clearly don't give a sh*t either.
I wanted to love this game. The pixel art is gorgeous, the atmosphere is solid, but that's where it ends. Everything else is a masterclass in how NOT to design a game. The economy is a joke. You clear a dungeon, risk your life, crawl back to town, and barely earn enough to buy bread. Enchantment scrolls cost a fortune and give you +2% damage. Are you kidding me? Walking simulator. 70% of your playtime is holding WASD across empty maps, is it hard to at least make it faster when you hold or use shift or whatever? And since you can only save at beds, if you die in the dungeon (which you will), congrats on having to walk that 20 minutes again! Supporter packs before finishing Early Access. The game has been in EA since 2020, the main story is still nowhere near done. And that leads to the most unbearable ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the save system. The devs literally admitted in a statement that saving anywhere is "technically impossible" due to procedural generation and "too many objects to save." I personally have handled hundreds of billions of voxels in a voxel engine and have NEVER had problems making a proper save system. Just admit it's SKILL ISSUE and look for help! Playing this game is pure PAIN. I WANT MY MONEY BACK.
The game itself—its mechanics, world, and overall concept—is solid. It's genuinely enjoyable to play. The problem is the save system, which has absolutely no respect for the player's time and can easily make you lose anywhere from an hour to ninety minutes of progress because of RNG. Trying to justify it with some supposed sense of pressure or higher stakes is complete stupidity. Fortunately, there are mods. That said, calling the person responsible for this save system an idiot would be an insult to all idiots. If you're okay with the game wasting an hour or more of your time due to pure RNG, then go ahead and buy it—you'll likely enjoy it. I personally value my time too much to put up with such ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game mechanics.
This game is difficult for the sake of being difficult. I've given this game a real try, including the demo and I just do not enjoy my time playing it. First you pick a 'class' at the start of the game without any real indication of how balanced they are. I make the mistake of picking the hunter which basically means I have a -2 modifier on my annoyingly limited storage the rest of the game while I tote around some magical item that doesn't really seem to help. No way to change that unless I want to start over. To be successful at combat you have to cheese it, at least in the early game. I understand some people enjoy real punishing gameplay, but there aren't any setting options to modify that experience to your own enjoyment so you're SOL if you don't enjoy their balancing. To get any enjoyment out of combat, I feel like I have to go watch videos to learn all the cheesy mechanics like shouting all the time to try and pull single combatants from groups. Bleh. Every time you die, you go back to your last save point so have fun wasting hours of your day re-doing tasks you already did because you died if you didn't save recently. It's a survival game too so I get to spend half my time jankily running across the map to the lake to get water then running somewhere else to hunt or gather some food. Then running to the dungeon, clearing two rooms, getting my ass kicked, retreating to heal, then running back across the map to sleep because my character needs to sleep and eat. If the storage situation was better, this wouldn't be so painful, but as it is, you can't really ensure you have enough food, water, medicine, and tools to spend time away from resources so it just feels like you're constantly interrupted by your character's needs. In hours of gameplay, it really makes you feel like you've accomplished nothing.
Adoro esse jogo, é muito bem feito e tem mecânicas excelentes. O único problema é a lentidão da equipe. Já são 7 anos; esses caras devem estar trabalhando em escala 2x5, 2 horas por dia.
