About
Stoneguard is an immersive strategy game set in a grim medieval apocalypse, where you must defend the magical Lifestone.

Protect the Lifestone
You start with nothing but the will to survive in an apocalyptic world. You protect humanity's only source of magic, the lifestone, from falling into the wrong hands. To defend the last glimpse of hope: Craft walls, build towers and fortify.

Experience Traumatic Injuries & Gruesome Encounters
Accurate weapon tracing detects which body part has been hit. You must be tactful in combat to protect your vital limbs and choose which parts of your enemies to sever. Every lost limb carries severe consequences, hindering your performance in both battle and daily survival. But as long as the Lifestone is protected, there are ways to heal your battle wounds.

Craft with the Remains of Monsters
Strategize your defenses before nightfall, then command and fight alongside your survivors in battle. Issue orders amid the chaos as you face five distinct boss encounters, each summoning new hordes of enemies. Craft and research powerful weapons forged from the limbs of your fallen enemies.

Basebuilding and Resource Management
Hunt and gather resources from the world around you, recruit survivors to join your settlement, and work together to gather, craft, and build. Expand your community with housing, farms, workshops, and more as you create a thriving community amid the apocalypse.

A Unique and Immersive Strategy Game
Experience a strategy game from a third person point of view, with a dynamic day and night cycle which aligns with the three phases of gameplay; day time, preparation phase, and night time.

I love the idea of city managment + tower defense! Would be nice to see how this game evolves in the next months! Can´t wait for a "endless wave" mode! Currently 9h gameplay avainable and I enjoyed it! The concept is there, now just the mechanics and "gameplay smoothness" must be worked o (normal for alpha state). Needs work: - The pathing for the NPCs seems buggy, sometimes they get stuck on the flor or buildings and you have to push them out. - The Semi circle formation needs work, when you have many NPCs it makes 1 giant circle line (instead of 2 when big) - The formations NPC placement get buggy when buildings or things or on the way. Also there could be a priority to put ranged NPC on the "back line" when the formation allows it (like arrow)
I'm really enjoying the game so far & am excited for the features to come! A really cool game :)

Unable to run this game in full screen 1080! I have to manually change my desktop resolution down to FHD instead of changing in game settings. Zero help from developers! FAIL!
I'm giving this a thumbs up just due to sheer value. You get a competent lovecraft/7d2d smooshing. It *really* is more of on the "proof of concept" side than "complete product" side of things. It needs a LOT of quality of life and explaining- Example: As far as I can tell you can only equip your building plans, building hammer, 1 weapon (and either a shield or a torch if it's a 1h melee weapon), and 1 tool. Those have to be switched in and out at the various buildings- You have no personal inventory. Thus far there only seems to be two real tiers of tech, wood/stone/leather and iron. A few odd design decisions- Like for some reason (tbh the athestic is all I can think of), wood armor leg pieces, and 1 of the arm pieces offer more armor than the next tier (leather). But a leather helmet and chest piece is more armor than the wood tier. . . . Idk. The directional combat is overstated. Your dude swings in one of three ways based on input. The limb choppy stuff is fun- Needs more gore. The AI is more "A" than "I" if you get my drift. Days go by fast so you always feel a little panicked at the nightly raids. The base building is. . .present. A little weak. Definitely has the vibe that the Devs cats were more interested in making the buildings exist, than thinking about what you're gonna do with them. Though the system functions quite a bit better than expected, and in the case the walls, functions better than expected. The shining star here is the concept, honestly. Alien Cthulu-esq monesters attacking you every night to try to steal your Final-Fantasy-Chrystal Chronicals-esq Crystal. 5/10. Needs another 6-12 months content expansion, a progression path, and a hard look at why some things exist (Hello hunting and carving up deer). If I had to give one piece of advice to the Devs Right now on what they could/should do? It would be to go through their entire project and ask: "Why does this exist, and what function does this have" for literally every object in the game. Anything that is tedious, doesn't have an answer, or only serves as a middle-step? Cut it. Then expand on everything else.
I have been excited for this game to come out since the demo and it does not disappoint!!! I feel like I haven't really played a game like this before and its scratching an itch I didn't know that I had! Its fun and addictive I keep on wanting to manage my time and resources as well as I can and I have many ideas on what strategies to use for different battles. I'm going to share it with my friends as it has the multiplayer option and I know we're going to have a lot of fun fighting, building and strategizing together. The boss battles are very fun too! I didn't expect the bosses to be so big! They make me and my survivors feel tiny but in a cool way! So excited to see where this game is going to go!!!!!!!! Definitely give this game a go if your in to management, strategy and combat or even if you just want to mess around with friends and have a good time!
Different - Quite a few bugs - Early Access Normality. Balancing Needed - More Variety - The usual. Monsters are strange - Story is basic and jarring (spaceship...) I like it, just tossing out places it needs polish, looking forward to more.
Loving this game. Initially it had a two week game duration where the current final boss came along and that was it. Now so soon after release the devs have listened to the community and given us an endless mode option, we can either end our games at the current end boss and save that to continue as new content is added or immediately turn that save into and endless mode game and either last or be overrun.
Eu acho que esse jogo está sendo desenvolvido apenas pelos 4 gatos, porque superou todas as minhas expectativas.
